personally, i think HLB really sucks. 1st bad experience. I bought a house and applied for loan. so i apply loan with Alliance bank and HLB. Alliance bank was introduce by the developer so that fellow call me and collect all the document from me in my house. So just incase 1 side didn't approve my loan, i go HLB apply the loan at the same time. This HLB fellow call me and make appointment say 7pm meet at his office (I work in Singapore and i off at 6pm, i told him i can only make it around 7:15-7:20). he then agreed to wait for me. When i reach his Office at 7:05pm, this fellow is gone. I call him and he said he went to another client place. I then screw him said why he promise to wait me until 7:30 earlier and now he is gone. I slam his phone and never ever answer his call again. Finally i got my loan through Alliance bank with the fantastic service from the consultant.

Incident 2.

I was holding an EON bank credit card previously. Everything was fantastic. until HLB took over EON bank. everything still ok because their online banking, customer service all still under the EON bank old staff. Until somewhere around march, they told me that the CC i am holding (Eon bank JB City Square card) is no longer available and they will replace my CC with another card. I ask them to mail it to my house directly using normal mail as i would not be home during office hours,they said cannot because CC is very important thing cannot mail like that blah blah blah. after much arguement, i just tell them to send to the branch in KL and i go back collect when i am back (somewhere in April), on the 29th April i got an SMS says my card is already in the branch, please collect from the branch. I went to the branch on the 2nd May. THe branch officer told me the card is not here. I show them the SMS and they called the call center to ask. they then say they will check and get back to me, I already damn pissed with them this time, so i told the branch officer i will cancel the card. Everytime i pay CC i will pay round figure in 50s and the bank still owe me RM30++, the officer ask for my bank account and will credit the remaining balance into my Public bank. I didn't really check if they really credit it because I dont track my account that much.
After so many months. I receive a CC from HLB in September. Its a Matta fair credit card. In my head, i keep thinking WTF! last time u say cannot post, now u post. 2nd thing is I cancelled this in May, now you send me the card? I didn't do anything to the card just cut and throw in the bin, never call them to verify as well. hopefully they won't bill me anything for it.
