Michaelyii1988, did you flash it using starlight own' core file or not like tai_digidestany said? By the way tai bro, how long does your phone batt last using starlight cfw?
Currently on 8GB mem card class 2, browsing through movies is fine, no lag at all. Took 5 minutes or so to browse the movies when reinsert the mem card but once inserted, I never switch off the phone so it's okay. I like to keep them movie drama on my tube to watch on the go...so many episodes...haha Thanks for the suggestion but I decided to get from here after some search http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=55&t=1717300 Now deciding to get either Kingmax or DNA brand for class 10, anyone use before? How is class 10 better than class 2 anyone know? |

I don't think it wil be faster, I'm using SanDisk 8GB class 4 and it is almost the same speed when i was transferring files from my computer via USB, maybe the reader in 5800 had a limit?

QUOTE(eddiez_zz @ May 7 2011, 12:11 AM) ok guys, i need help now.. mate, just remove ur MMC when on the phone if u having this probfew days back i was using vortex 1.5, then just now while i was using the phone i wanted to restart it. Then i pressed the power button, then the selection pops up and i chose restart phone.. Right after restart phone, my phone switched off, and then i try to on it back.. it load until the screen where it show the word vortex custom rom.. after that, it turn off without loading my phone to the main page.. any idea what should i do now? =/ then chkdsk MMC for error QUOTE(michaelyii1988 @ May 8 2011, 12:08 PM) seems like Vortex 1.5 draining a lot of juice from the batt. @.@ try turn off UMTS and use only GSM mode or juz me having this prob only. edited: fully charge last abt 1day 8hours ONLY. QUOTE(lazirsuy @ May 8 2011, 03:16 PM) its not just vortex, most of c6 cfw like that oso... did packet connection set as "when needed" ?i dont use to buy prepaid regularly, my phone just for incoming calls... but noticed something weird last month, i topup rm10, rm8 is wasted for gprs connection (it use gsm mode only)... aiyoyoyoyooo, what in the world in my phone trying to reach the internet...? wonder why why my credit is less than rm2, just check at maxis website... every gprs connection will consume rm2 loh... now need to delete maxis 3g internet and maxis 3g wap and maxis 3g streaming settings, leave only maxis 3g mms alone... internet using wifi, no more credit wasted after this... but if using 5800-c6 CFW , it will be abit hard coz every 5800-c6 had problem on data connection QUOTE(lazirsuy @ May 9 2011, 08:38 AM) yes, and i edi found the reason, setting in ovimaps is online and positioning method is intergated gps and wifi/network... 1. Did u set positioning server use as "Always ask" and positioning method only use assited GPS and integrated GPSwhen using gps, its using internet too... wifi/network means using internet, if got wifi ok lah, if not then using gprs/3g lohhhh solution, set positioning method to integrated gps and asisted gps for fast lock satt... consume around rm0.20 only every time i use gps... but now set to integrated gps only and also offline in ovimaps and took around 5 minutes to lock satt... ok lah... absolutely free of charges... aiyooooo... 2 diff story lar... 1st is reply... 2nd is my post... its not on the same line maa...
