see which step im wrong. am using V52 between.thx.
do i need to replace/rename anything?

hmm.. did u download the correct core file? make sure u download are the V52 core.

after you get all files ready, then follow the tutorial guide..

you dont have to replace or rename any file..

just make sure that all the custom rom files are in the directory as per below
C:\Program Files\Nokia\phoenix\products\(your phone firmware name, mine is RM-365)\(those customFW files)

its easy.. no worries..
just follow the steps..

abt the CFW file,there's only 1 file rite? juz copy paste into the respective folder? i follow the steps but i cant find any C0r file..mine is C00..not sure if u understand..

use navifrim? no need navifirm.. just download 3 files from phadly blog.. no need navifirm if want to flash with vortex!

try turn on without memory card

I couldn't rehack my v52 with my helloox2... it just stays at the "Unpacking file" stage for ages....

has this problem appeared before?

Edit : nvm, I just found out to hard reset my phone. Doing it for the first time since I bought it last jan xD;

I didnt try that, but instead i flash my phone again using vortex 1.5 cfw.

Then after flash my phone on back, but i realize after i switch it off and on again then the same problem appeared again.

Then, i flash for the 2nd time, and i do hard reset.

So now, at for this moment, i dare not restart my phone until i really found the main cause. because today i will be going out all day long.

Yesterday, because of this I cant use my phone to contact for the whole night.

if i'm not mistaken starting from v40 you cant use helloox already, need to do the phnt way.

hey bro, you dont need to have original firmware. just follow phadly tutorial "the link that i posted previously"
you just need 3 files to flash, C0re, Rof2s, Uda. Thats it.

u downloaded all the file, and yet you only see one file appeared on your desktop?
try this.. go my computer > tools > folder option > view > "untick" hide extension for known files types

Then go back to the place where your downloaded file suppose to be, and check.

Previously, i have the same problem too, i cant see the file that i downloaded. after doing that, then i saw my desktop appeared with the other files.

My friend had that problem before, she took out her memory card then it boots fine

hmm.alright..downloading core file now..but do i need the UDA files? coz its in RM-356 51.0.006.UDA while im using V52 now..sry for the noob question.

errr .. let others guide u im not very sure about this, my generation ended in v40

haha..okay..guess im a bit too rush..i replace the uda files with the one(ofw) that i download using navifirm..now its done..so far so good.hopefully nth happen after this.cheers!

Will redo with phantom later nhopefully test a cfw later

Another prob i see so far is just that my fullscreen qwerty blanks out n hangs sometimes, esp when i try to fix a typo in the middle without erase everything... Hope the cfw can fix that too
