damn it... i got this error... even though i clean installed the BF2 setup...

help, my friend's BF2 1.0 cannot use the full patch to 1.41, it's stuck at 8% then patching fail, seems like many ppl are having this prob too

patch corrupted...btw there's 1.5 now. why is he still trying to patch 1.41?

i have a problem. I bought battlefield 2 through STEAM. is a complete edition. When i play multiplayer, the ping is too high and been "Kick". is that malaysia or country nearby got server for STEAM battlefield 2?

by using STEAM is that can join Gamearena? or the public server?

please advise.

i dont think it has anything to do with steam in terms of server. nearby server is in SG but always empty. gamearena is the best place to check. or china servers.

so in asia, no people playing bf2?

Erm...hardly people playing bf2 anymore...but there is some australian servers i guess....its like end 2005 back then....now its going to 2010 already...almost 5 years.

i'm on 10.1 ATi Catalyst, RV790 with "Application Controlled" AA and forced 16x AF, AI Catalyst set to Enabled, Advanced

i tried to let the application do the rest, but still... the same...

i think it somekind related to shader...

regarding display anomalies previous post, search and search all over the forum and found that (not sure though what's happening, but as long it's became normal, it's all that matters...)

here's you need to do, right click on your BF2 shorcut, get the Compatibility tabs and tick as per screenshot attach, not sure which ticked works though...

sniper...time to switch to nvidia.....look at ati...u got banjir problem.....n radin in bf2142 got kene blackout problem....bangla hired from cy cannot fix it...nvidia time....

switching to Nvidia is big no-no for me, you see... to me, nVidia is not for gaming, it's just for desktop rendering, chess titan... gaming with nVidia is not as fun as ATi, you see... with those problem, and ATi came up fixes, hotfixes shows us ATi do the job...

nah... forget it, i'm just ATi Fanboy...

hi guys, only latest update able to play with bots??? which is 1.41?

help.... i can't hear most of the dialog during cut scenes...

my safe guess is that the voice i missed is supposed to come out from front channel speaker

im using sonic gear usb stereo speaker... so is it me or ppl with normal stereo speakers are experiencing the same problem?

i've tried most method, speakercount... headset.... setting.ini.... non of them work...

should i invest in a front speaker or 5.1 system? will 2.1 able to solve my problem?

just come back to bf2 after few years left, selalu lepak this server call leetserver..the ping bolehlaa 249ms lebih kurang with 2mb streamyx(lol)..miss the old sgserver where i got 20ms with 1mb streamyx..

come play at RCDC india server.. hosted by SG i guess.. same IP as EASG

i dont know why but everytime i get into the loading screen and half war thru loading my game crash and kick me back to desktop, please help

humm... I cant seem to add servers to my favourite tab. It being grey-out
