hy there...
 i have this kind of problem...i'm using Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24bit n cannot use hardware sound, if i force use it, the radio sound sounds like distorted, weapons/ambient is fine... wats the prob?driver?updated ady, when using onboard (asus a8n-sli premium), everything's fine, only the framerate can drop a bit... |

hy guys..i got this experience bout video quality...
mine lik emy siggy, all video setting is high except texture which was set to medium, everytime i play BF2, Gulf of Oman specially, the grass object tends to look like not grass, it shud be like 2d sprite, with sharp n crisp edge, but this...kinda bold grass, the funny thing is...it's not all the time i saw it, it change to bold grass in different angel...maybe a screenie would help i guess...i'll upload tomorow...by the mean time...have u guys any idea? |

i have this problem...looks like everytime i tried to connect GameArena's server, surely the connection will be lost, i tried on the other server too (MentalPlayers, Other GameArena) even with hi-ping server too, still connection lost, i tried connecting via XFire and GameArena Game Browser still, can't resolve the issue, i even tried pinging those server via command, but no dc issue (no request time out), when web surfing, its rock stable...i mean, what is going on?
[SOLVED] i found the culprit, looks like i've been under P2P program e-mule which i don't even know how it's in my system, i have this Microsoft Windows Defender ran and check the network program running, suprise me, there's an e-mule program running and at least Malaysian IP (60.51/52/53.x.x) connected through my system, no wonder my network program still both lit. now i have this question...why in the hell, i always lost my connection...is it my streamyx?is it my splitter? i guess it's not about my streamyx (i use 1Mbps@2Mbps), DD and BT is fine speed now, but why my online gaming (BF2) isn't stable? everytime connected through the server, 5 maybe 6 minutes after played...disconnected due to lost connection, this is same when i disable the firewall, AV and Windows Defender and any other security program, yes disable the BT as well...whats the deal?

[HELP] my BF2 keeps crashing to desktop, i even format to new/clean WinXP, but still the problem persist...disabled/uninstalled AV, FireWall or any background processes or programs, also doesn't help...i thought it's because of multiplayer maybe, so i played on SP, but still same...crashing to desktop after few minutes in the game (while on BFHQ it stays longer until i click Exit). i wonder what happen...i didnt ecountered things like this before...

well, AFAIK, Malaysian don't have Battlefield 2's server, Battlefield 2142, yes got...
 , anyway...you can always play at Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Australia server which is in good ping range, from as low as 20ms to 200ms, with average 100~150 at Australian server (),  , nowadays quite hard to find Malaysian player, but if you see me, i'm sniper69aka101...yours? |

, i found weird...everytime i hit Printscreen (screenshot) it'll screw up my graphic, all artifacts, yeah, kind of heavy artifacts all over the screen...i wonder why, tried not to overclock - same, different ForceWare driver too, same...bad as others... |

, i'm an old school fella ... anyway, IMO, good gameplay should be around 5 (bot? ) to 250 (250 ping? not good in sniping). GameArena @Australia is the most popular game room, Singapore's should be ok, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand (don't even think bout joining though)... |
