Hi guys, I've been purchasing stuff from Amazon & actually just realized that I could use forwarding services to consolidate my stuff! Really wtf on paying extremely high shipping costs all these while!

So I've read up all 19 pages about forwarding services and decided that HopShopGo & ComGateway is the best (as per other forumers experience)

But here's my questions, not sure if these are some kinda trade secrets but here goes -

1. How would I know/how do I calculate the total weight of my stuff if I were to buy cosmetics/skincare/clothes? I don't see them stating on their site about the weight of the item..

2. Since there is no way to under-declare on HSG/CGW, how much tax will kena if my stuff totals above RM500?

3. If I were to do a spree to save cost, how should I quote others on the total price of the items including shipping (from merchant to HSG & HSG to Malaysia), other services (eg. Buy For Me, consolidating, etc), tax, & possibly a service fee in a way that even if I don't make any money out of it, I wouldn't rugi?

4. and even after quoting others on the price of the item, when would I need to stop taking orders so that the shipping cost back to Malaysia wouldn't be too extremely high?

5. A very dumb question here - How do I gather people to join me on a spree if I have never done this before?

I would be tremendously grateful if anyone could enlighten me on all these info as I would really like to purchase some stuff..

I am really wanting to get some stuff from http://www.allcosmeticswholesale.com & nordstorm

My apologies if thats too many questions.. Really looking forward to some answers blush.gif

Thanks a million!

1. you cant calculate by yourself, the forwarding company will calculate for you. they dont calculate by weight but volumetric mass.

2. 10%

5. open a thread at bulk orders section of LYN

i have never had a problem purchasing from US and UK even my item are above RM500 never get taxed before.
CGW or HSG sending the parcel one by one in one shipment.. so when your shipment come is not in 1 boxes but all the boxes which is every time cause me headache >.< donno where to keep the un used boxes.

the good way they do this is to prevent your stuff get taxes.. i ask them before.

Hey thanks for the info.. So in other words, no point asking them to repack the stuff?

But does it also mean that, for example I buy from 2 sites n my stuff has gotta be under rm500 for each?
