Hi all,
I visited to a few showroom selling security door. According to the sales people, told me that they have a few types there. Local made stainless steel grilles(thicker), china made stainless steel(thinner) and hollow metal grilles. Do anyone know what is the different between all the types above in term of the safety? Is that really make a different with using different materials? Also, anyone using the brand of YSE before? Any comment about it? |

YSE is expensive of course the quality is better. But for me, is better to have a latch inside because if once the lock is broken the door will just open. If you got additional latch with pack lock inside at least there is another 2nd layer of protection. So far all the the lock set control all the internal latch. No point if your door have multiple latches but once the main lock is broken or open. All the latches will be open.

QUOTE(Jo_da48 @ Jul 10 2011, 01:56 PM) Nope...it is on your own. They only put the frame in, and seal back will need extra charge except you get a price with them Do you have any photo for the connection between your door and your wall? is it look nice?I have to pay RM150 each door for my wet contractor to fix for me. Kelvin5717 RM4K shoud enough but it also depend on what type of door you select. WHole stainless stell for sure can't lal... you could check out at PWTC (house deco this week) or hunt around for your design and ask for pricing lol... |
