A friendly warning to all MAXIS and potential MAXIS Subscribers !!Beware of MAXIS This post is to warn people who is using Maxis of such hidden scam cost. They will not refund you even though you are the victim. They actually allowed a 3rd party provider to charge you through them and you have to just pay up or they'll barred you. This is known as Macro SMS. I did not subscribe to them and MAXIS know about this yet they are not able to stop it. I wonder why. Apparently , a BIG SHOT is behind this scam company. We have told MAXIS to stop charging us months after months yet there is nothing MAXIS could do about it. SO IRRESPONSIBLE. I have been charged a total close to RM 2000 under MACRO SMS and for something I did not subscribe. Couldn't take it any longer so I switch to , DIGI. So far so good  I have seen online that some people among us had succumb to such situation. I wonder why. I am wondering if anyone one of you had encountered these before and how to go around it? 3 weeks ago, my friend asked me why I sent him a same sms twice, I said no, I'm pretty certain I sent once only. Then last week, another friend of mine who is also using Maxis reply my sms "OK Noted" 3 times. Then I asked her why sent to me 3 times....she said No..I sent once only.
Now the problem is....Maxis postpaid users don't have the itemised bill to prove this stupid double or triple sms charges. Any idea how to prove to Maxis on this type of scam ?

stick with prepaid. don't get suck into postpaid. the benefits offered by postpaid is like a piece of cheese in the middle of a mouse trap.

prepaid also get sucked. i just bough a new prepaid sim pack yesterday and top up it with rm10. just this morning i got two message that said my subcription to etc..etc has been renewed and both charged at rm4 & rm5. now left rm1 in my balance. FU<k U MAXIS!

Wow thank god I didn't go Maxis. Was a DiGi but now, moved to Celcom due to no coverage at home. Sad huh.
Either way, getting Galaxy tab on DiGi plan so....yeah. DiGi is definitely much better than Maxis. Even Celcom also better than Maxis.
My gf's sis said she always kena 'extra' billing on maxis bill every month. Dunno why.

I have raised a complain to SKMM before against CELCOM >> see Celcom Is a f***ED UP COMPANYhere What SKMM did was, just telling me the same bullshit told by celcom. yeah.. maxis sucks.. sucking customer money with many methods.. that why i let my credit RM0.00 without top up for a months.. now, i dun know which telcos give the best service.. my father uses DiGi over 11 years n never encountered a problem so far.. maybe its time to change to DiGi |

yah i just port my prepaid number to digi, cause i can't stand everyday atleast three promotion sms from MAXIS .....
i use phone for my own purpose, not for maxis to spam my phone line ..
