Not a big issue to me. I'm used to see it on LCD monitor/TV anyway, and most of the time it seems so minor I totally forgot about seeing it anyway.

I'm going to try it out after work. I will give it a week and see if the screen bleed will bothers me or not. Are you planning to send back yours?

So far the screen bleed is not bad to the point that is unbearable to surf.

So far after 2 days of use I barely notice the issue. Most of the sites I went to have bright background. I guess some can tolerate it since the impact of bleeding is minimal.

how to turn to black screen? to test screen bleeding.

and need to set brightness to higest , right?

Just use a black color photo (I download a black image jpeg file).

To see the bleed you have to set to the highest and be in a dark room.

That picture is taken at 40% brightness.... Ive just tried 100% brightness n it's a lil worst. *sigh*

I say you should try out the iPad without trying to look at the backlit problem.you will likely will not even notice it most of the time.

actually, does you all really notice the screen bleed when u are using it normally?

no, 100% brightness at a dark room is not where you use everyday.

I got the bleed but I don't even notice it 100% of the time. IMO not worth to go through all the warranty / waiting just so that I could avoid noticing the bleed.

Screen bleed seem to have no effect on me. I notice finger smudge more so than screen bleed. This issue really is overblown.
