customer : "Hi, how much printing ?"
internet cafe : laser printing cost RM0.50 per page
customer : "Wah so expensive"
internet cafe : yah laser printing no profit, just extra service for customers

so the customer prints tens of pages. and knowing the cost, the customer still marah b*tchy mouth, yeah like I forced you to print or hide the cost.

"Customers always right" is a fallacy I've never believed in.

Added on May 6, 2011, 11:12 amPhone call : "hello, 20 years ago I bought 64MB EDO-RAM for RM5000, now 1GB DDR RAM only Rm100! I Demand refund of RM4900!!!"

jokes aside, regarding Case Study 2:, I think if the item is just few days old, u should allow the upgrade and buyer should bear all shipping costs. It is good business practice , common one too.
