The coffeeshop at the corner of Jalan Imbi/Jalan Barat junction. By far the most famous Pork Ball Noodle, selling at RM6.00 per bowl nowadays. Another one is Tanming Jaya in Balakong where the whole family , 4 members are selling. The father in Tanming Jaya, Tai Kar Lok, the daughter in Taman Impian Ehsan near Giant also Balakong, the mother in D'sara somewhere and the son in-law in Taman Mahkota Cheras. So the taste is the same for all four outlets. Another quite popular Pork Ball Noodle is in Jalan Peel,(operating from 5.00 pm till midnight) just a few shops after the Shell Station. Also quite OK.

The thing is 'sam kan chong' pork balls and the 'bbq intestine' is from one single supplier, ie. if the stall operator wants the best and obviously the most expensive ones. The factory is located in Jinjang Utara and is the son of the original 'sam kan chong' meaning three shops situated in Jalan Silang many years ago. Off course there are other suppliers that try to imitate but the taste and texture is not the same and the sizes different. According to the supplier, original sam kan chong has no mince pork but has been added nowadays and the original gives pickled green chillies and not chilly padi as most stall sells.
