my ALmx5021 is dead now and i'm not even at home when my baby is dead due to electric overload, outstation now..any suggestion that can beat mx5021? price range rm500 - rm1000.

Hi guys, i already booking for corsair sp2500 and need a place to repair almx5021 due to electricity overload, any shop that repair electronic item will do right?

just repaired my almx5021 and the total damage is rm80. now work like charm again biggrin.gif

yeah, u should give sp2500 a try. clarity, sparkles and sound imaging is great with this speaker. I pair it with the wolfson dac thou and i think this dac is not good enough to drive this speaker. Should use it with high end soundcard or else it will bottleneck the performance. This speaker definetly not for basshead because, a lot of my friend said this speaker lack of bass including my father?? Haha!

C3 is good just buy it, to connect it with the ps3 just use:

1. the AV cable that came with the ps3

2. Connect the AV cable with female AV to female 3.5mm jack connector.

3. and just use male mini to male mini connector to pair with the c3.

This method if u are using lcd monitor to play with the ps3.

If you have LCD tv just bought male RCA to male mini to connect with the tv while ur ps3 connect with HDMI cable.

for speaker cable, i dont find yet who can provide me such service but for RCA, already change it to ssyc cable.
Right now, i'm looking for better external soundcard, currently using bro chchyong wolfson dac. any recommendation?

for music, you will never go wrong with edifier s730 plus it depends how you feed this beast, must use high quality sound card, music file must be lossless, the cable must change to quality one and etc..

sp2500 also the same thing. Rule of thumb. Crap in crap out.

it's based on individual preferences, its best to trust your ears than the other thoughts. For me, i trust 100% on review because they have high end gear and good environment for serious listening,if you go to lowyat, the environment will be against over you and you dont know what kind of sources they feed the speakers. So the outcome of audition will be vary. The most important is, if your taste in music sucks like me atleast according to beggarmaster2000 laugh.gif i recommend you to trust established reviewer. icon_rolleyes.gif

no, you cant tune the EQ there is fixed EQ such as classical,pop,jazz,mod x,action,drama??,FPS,action gaming,headphone and reference(no EQ).

and according to manufacture, corsair at its best when you pair it with hi end SC and classical EQ.

So, i'm not alone after all? hahaha
