Music and movies? Edifier S730 is the answer 

Both Edifier S730 and Logitech Z5500's bass (S730 - solid clean punch, Z5500 - solid boomy punch) will easly filling your room but S730's satellites much2 better then Z5500's satellites from my opinion. Feels good mang when listening music with Edifier S730 

Both got wireless remote controller, just what you need 

If u r looking for 2.1 system, i will recommend u S730 It got better SQ if u compare to Z5500.

Edifier M3500 subwoofer ain't that huge... it's just that I assume you want huge woofers lol
srsly paper can't tell the quality of speakers as speakers isn't that accurate.

I can make a speaker that uses 8000Watts of power and gonna blow out your ears but then it can't actually sound good.

to answer your question of Z5500 and Z906.

Z5500 can go lower lol
Z906 though sounded like there is more deeper bass but it's actually not deep bass... it's more like the subwoofer starts to distort via subsonic filter.
Play it loud will create an awesome low throbbing distortion that sounded like bass >.<
(just tested it today at Harvey Norman)
