Seriously nice?
How about PL-21?

I'm kinda more concerned on the wire headings now.
But I'm also more of a pop, r&b, kpop, ballad listener. PL-20 is a wise choice? smile.gif
*
PL20 is kindda light on bass.... i would recommend u PL21, its actually a balance phone with added bass for kicks.... i really love the sound but sometimes the bass on PL21 could be a bit over powering (im getting old maybe, so sensitive with bass)

to sum up its something like this:

PL20 - its clear, detailed sounding but the bass would be a little light for some.
PL21 - i have this phone (well still have it) and for its price... it gives a good detail, punchy bass but not to the extend its muffled the voice.

do choose your poison....

Thanks. Care to describe the texture and fit of the IEM? biggrin.gif

Also, how about Koss KEB//70. Kinda like the contruction but have no idea on the SQ.
Also, iFrogz Timbre's construction too.

Might need it for reference.  icon_rolleyes.gif

its made from aluminum... the seals are pretty much good that u can particularly sleep with it comfortably... ( i dont recommend this... but i do fell asleep for a couple of times with this) the cables are durable, so doe the 3.5mm plug. overall, u have a pretty sturdy earphones for reasonably good price...

as for Koss and ifrogz timbres... i cant commment since i never see or audition both of the phone said

I heard that M30 bass will reduce over burn in.
Between M30 and FC700, which have more bass after burn in???

I also like FC700 because its portable and looks good.

My head said go to FC700,but will it have enough bass to WOW me??
*
M30 wont be able to give u a good kick bass if u ask me.... M30 do produce bass but just enough.... since its a monitoring phone...., its emphasis more on detail and clarity.... thou i enjoy listening to M30 plug to maverick D1 preamp tube.... brows.gif

Sure all are compatible? From my experience not all are compatible. Im buying for my girlfriend actually. She prefer clear sound and light bass. She listen various kinds of songs.

It is ipod shuffle 3rd gen  biggrin.gif
*
u want cheap and light bass but still manage to bring the details? well u should consider Sennheiser MX400. for a dirt cheap price (i got it around rm20++ only) its sure going to be a done deal.... (retail price is rm59 i think...) and its an ear bud.... hmm.gif

The budget is not fix. I wasnt know a not bad quality and compatible with ipod shuffle 3rd gen earphone normally cost over RM200, cause i totally dun have the knowledge. Ur comment make me feel like a cheapo. At least can tell me the price range.  blush.gif

*
at least u should try it first before passing finale judgement... it should not be expensive to be good sounding.....

I've only heard good things about Shure SRH440 but not the Denon D501. I think I've tried the Shure before but how does it compare with ATH-M35 and SR80?
*
ATH M series usually a monitoring phones.. meaning they are neutral and some say have a boring sound thou i love the sound coming from ATH M30 with emphasis on details and clarity but not on bass. SR80 or for me im very familiar with SR80i are in -your-face like sound and its really good for rock because the sound of guitar flicking are freaking awesome... brows.gif and its not lacking bass... but im not sure if ure the type who likes in-your-face presentation sound because it can be tad annoying and u tend to get tired easily because of too much info to absorb....

so basically -
ATH - M range are monitoring phones. clarity and details are very good. thou i cant say much about bass...
SR80 or grado SR range - in-your-face kindda sound. detailed and pretty much for rock. but prolong usage will exhaust ur ear and u cant listen with them long

shure SRH440.... well i did try those but i couldnt stand it because its sound is thinner than SR80i and for methe mids and highs sounded a bit metallic to me... but i guess u need to audition it to be sure

Please help.. Currently i'm looking at the hippo groove... Good choice?
*
i supposed for your budget it would be good enough.... or u can try soundmagic range.... which is bang for bucks also....

Guys i was thinking to get iBeats ~
Any review on it ? good or bad ?
Or you guys prefer any other similar earphone?
I prefer earbuds.
TQ.
*
with that kind of price i would suggest u go for Yuin PK1. it'll satisfy ur needs for sound WAY better than iBeats... well unless u are interested more to impress people than to impress your ears....

steer away from beats... for that amount of money, better buy something else... unless u are looking for fashion statement rather than good sounding product

Yeah, but I bought all online due to recommendations smile.gif

Very-very different sound reproduction. TMA-1 is more to bass, MS1i more to high-paced rock songs. For now I'm looking for a bright amp because TMA-1 is a bit dark, then I add in an E11, it became so dark  sweat.gif
*
i thought E11 or fiio amps are quite neutral?

so i was right.... it is neutral but the speed and harder hitting of the bass making it sounded a bit dark.... interesting.... hmm.gif thanks for the info...

Yeah, the bass is amazing, but I want some clarity as well. A bright amp should help right?
*
i not quite sure.... just try equing it 1st... because for one im not so sure that TMA-1 have that clarity u wanted... even u got a bright amp, u are clearly going to compromise the bass department for sure....
