hello guys nice to have ppl here using Himedia player I am gonna get mine today in the evening 600A I have some queries.. smone plz answer them

1) I have this old TV ( the old box ones I think it supports NTSC and PAL ) which I am gonna be using though composite cables can some one tell me which cable goes where as in the English manual they have not mentioned it.....

2) Can I watch MKV files with this do I need to change the TV mode or any mode will work ?

3) Is the quality very bad on these Old TVs ?

4) Has anyone updated the firmware to the latest one HD600_1.0.3.4 is it safe to do it ? its not available on their English website yet ?

hi ya will buy a LED later......

but currently I am wondering if MKV will work out on this OLD TV box.....

nd what audio settings should I choose should it be Raw or LPCM ?

hmm I just got mine today and played a MKV 720p file found the quality to be washed out or blurry ?

how do u check which firmware player is running ?

its a firmware issue it was running some old 1.02 firmware ver. after upgrade to the beta firmware quality is great like I was expecting smile.gif

I do have couple of issues though. If I go in my networked drive isn't there any option where I can just type the name of the song or movie and the player displays it as its very difficult to look for it by going through every file....or plz suggest me some way how to do this....

I am having a problem I am on Firmware Version 1.0.4.12 and it does not read any mp3 files ? The files are reading fine on my DVD player and PC ...can't figure out whats wrong..

1080P and 720P files are playing fine but its not showing any MP3 files......I am on LAN network...
