just received my HD600A yesterday. The player already comes with 1.0.3.4 firmware.

The remote is really something when compare to other China brands. The only thing I don't like about the remote is the hard tactile navigational keys. I wonder how long the buttons can last.

By the way, is there anyway to change the default font type = Embedded English/Chinese Font to a different TTF? I know we can change it from the Menu when playing a movie but it's a hassle to do it for every movie.

I am also keen to know how to change to a different font as I find the embedded English/Chinese font too plain for my likings.  If someone knows a good source to download a different font, please provide a link.

You mentioned you can change it from the Menu when playing a movie, how?  I can't seem to do that even when the movie is being played.
I think someone shared this before. Anyway, here goes again:
To have more fonts, you just need to copy any TTF files to the root of your connected HDD. Then, you should be able to change it from the Menu when playing a movie. wink.gif

I stream movies from a NAS using NFS though so I don't have a connected HDD.  Where will I store the TTF files in that case?

hmm.. you can try putting the TTF files on a USB flash drives or SD card. nod.gif

anyone has any solutions for subtitles overlapping each other especially watching anime with explanation translation?

I was using Samsung's media player that is built-in with the LCD TV and I do not have this problem. Any advice is appreciated.
