hi guys...just a quick question here...i'm looking to buy a himedia h600a...it seems like the best one on the new realtek 1185...

at the moment i have an xtreamer mk1 and i have no complaints with it..i find the gui and design quite ok, as in it doesnt look like an oem product, and they seem to support it pretty well too..

so now i'm deciding to whether a) get another xtreamer (cause tried and tested), b) get width live (heard its pretty decent) or c) go for latest- the himedia h600a.

considering the himedia's price at rm 300, it makes more sense to buy this than the other two. so, my final question that needs to be answered is
a) does it have a gui/design better or at least comparable to xtreamer?
(i put this as an important factor as u know u wouldnt want to have oem kind of gui on your spanking new hdtv rite lol)
b) are you satisfied with it overall? or in other words, would i coming from an xtreamer be ok with it?

i believe the answer to b would be very satisfied as i see they are quite committed in fixing the bugs and all...so just tinggal a)

thank you so much! smile.gif

hi guys..sorry for the delay..yeah i know there are some very angry fans of xtreamer out there...somehow it didn't meet their requirement...but in my case it serves me very well and i thinkits quite robust with network streaming and all....

so far they released almost 40 firmware revision and no real serious bugs la i think...

anyways, not to go of topic, back to himedia...well here is a video link of the xtreamer gui, you guys can have a look and see whther they are more or less equal...

i think himedia seems to be good compared to everythin else...
the new xtreamer..not yet available in the malaysian market yet i think? plus the price will be rm430 or more so i'd like to get the himedia hd600a if its ok

Hi guys, would anyone share their key file with me? Cause on my hd600a I don't have any hard disk connected to it. All my media are stored on a NAS. I was told that I should install YAMJ for better navigation for NAS. And that is why I need the key. Thanks
