Hey guys, got some question here. I never use 3G on my iPad before, but recently my home Internet is down n I just bought a prepaid maxis (due to maxis line is superb at me home ) for rm20. The question is, how do I topup this iPad number using cimbclicks? Do I put 'mobile reload' then the number is gonna be 601112544468 or 01112544468? Kinda blur here. Thanks for the help guys.

I was at Sunway last Saturday and there was a U mobile booth there. Checked with the guys there and decided to try out their mobile package on my ipad.
The 'U' guys told me can, They even cut sim card for me. I could not test there as I had the ipad at home.
At home, the ipad states 'No Sim'. Tried few times, cannot detect.
What do you think is the problem?

PROBLEM SOLVED.
Did the upgrade to iOS 5.1 and it came on.
Or maybe during the process, device switched off and on again - reboot.
Anyway it works now.

Anyone can recommend me a data plan. I already have a HTC sensation with 1.5gb quota which I only use about 500 mb a month max...the thing is last night I was waiting in the car and was bored so I turned on my hotspot on my HTC and surf the net using my ipad2... Barely even finish 1 YouTube movie, around 5 mins and I notice my 3G watchdog already at 100 mb downloaded...

So I want to know which would be best for normal use... I have wifi most of the time at home and office plus I have my maxis 1.5 gb plan already. Just need another one for my iPad just for convenience but don't think will use to stream video... Just for surfing... Cheapest around? Most of the time I'm in Kang valley and once a month in KK and Lahad Datu...

yes, like prepaid, buy celcom or maxis top up, then reload, then at computer setting inside do something to deduct that rm25, then start using for a month, about that vpn thing, i not sure how to add also, need either maybank2u or paypal

If u live in klang valley get umobile 28 postpaid for ipad. 1gb should be ok for yr outdoor needs. Speed n reception also ok, especially at 'hot' n popular areas.
