Good choice, me terbalik, I need more speed at night during the yum char session. Not yet test the 384kbps, if it is same as the Discovery Day 128kbps then potong the sim card hehehe

QUOTE(aberrant80 @ Jun 8 2011, 12:51 AM)

But since I got the plan becos I only need it during the day, it's fine for me. At night is wifi.

i had just bought that digi prepaid internet and let the guy there cut my simcard..

so far so good (in terms of connection) and the good thing is that you can topup using other phone which means you don't have to take that sim out from the ipad.. if you topup RM100, it'll last for 100 days, which means Rm1 per day, sounds reasonably good enough for me.. but if and only if you topup RM100.. else, you do the math..

Reload Validity
RM10 - 2 days data access
RM30 - 10 days data access
RM50 - 25 days data access
RM100 - 100 days data access

i am using the digi prepaid broadband which activated b4 this new scheme, rm10 can use 5 days not bad.

but top up rm100 for 100 days data access it is very cheap actually. good deal. very cheap indeed.

Don't mind get a reading from www.speedtest.net on the downloading speed?

Just bought this online and awaiting arrival of my 3G iPad, will do a review of this 384kbps line. Chances are it be slow but let's wait and see.

no it is not slow at all, was using it all the time. the speed is reasonable even after the fair quota use up.

Yeah day discovery has 700kbps in the morning and after 7pm throttled to 128kbps. This prepaid is 384kbps whole day. Lets see how bad is 384kbps hehhe.
*
it is not bad for the prepaid 384kbps speed definitely.

Is it possible to have 2 sim cards for 1 line? Digi user here. If I cut into micro then cannot use for my BlackBerry which is my primary gadget. If cannot then I might as well just get a WiFi only iPad 2.

Just buy any Digi prepaid reload coupon?
It's same for both internet and normal prepaid phone lines right? Only one kind?

I just change from Digi to Maxis.

Do you know that Maxis ipad plan don't have limit as well? But then there's a quota. After i hit my quota, my speed will be reduce but no further charge smile.gif

Digi speed slow at 384kbps but ok for surfing web pages.

Digi rm100 for 100 days for 3gb. Average rm30 a month

Another factor when choosing the network is to know which will perform best on the areas you frequently use your iPad at. Maxis works for me at most of the places I visit frequently except for some which can be frustratingly slow. sweat.gif

At first myself don't wanna get maxis. Even after reaching my quota, the speed is still faster than digi >< perhaps my area, Digi coverage not that good compare to maxis.

my ipad 2 using digi discovery day plan, but the 3G keep dropping, when it's connected, the speed quite good, abt 1Mbps sometime, but it gets disconnected frequently which is quite frustrating, i cant surf a page every half an hour, is there any setting i can do? or anyway to switch to EDGE? digi seem like having more stable EDGE than 3G, any idea?
