Looks like this 2 are the best option http://www.digi.com.my/internet/broadband/...ntractfree.htmlDigi RM38-5 (auto billing) RM33 per month 3GB Quota (Morning 700kbps, Night 128kbps) Umobile RM28 per month http://www.u.com.my/prepaid-packages/unlim...mobile-internetUnlimited (14Mbps - 64kbps) But seems like Digi is better choice due to their coverage, while Umobile capped the speed to 64kbps once u hit 500MB.

QUOTE(Nyanyanmeow @ Apr 25 2011, 12:06 PM) well, the 3g model comes with a 3g chip. i prefer that actually. and if u get the yes plan, you need to charge 2 devices, might as well just carry one device or if u have iphone 4 no need lah, turn on the wireless tethering then done d. hm..u got me there bro..thx for the advice..so i guess 3G would be the one for me then..so just need to decide which service provider provided better offer for the 3G.hmmm...still conpuse..

QUOTE(Nyanyanmeow @ Apr 25 2011, 12:21 PM) digi is okay lah if ur in urban areas. celcom and maxis has better coverage. maxis supports up to 7.2mbps (normally i get 6mbps something like that lah) i guess i have to do the comparision on the plan first. see which one is cheaper..

QUOTE(andrekua @ Apr 24 2011, 07:15 PM) Digi is horrible? I find it acceptable. Celcom is worst if I remembered correctly. Maxis is better choice if you can keep your usage down. Ccontrary to you, i find Digi & Maxis failed big time at my location. Only celcom can use. but if in KL, then all 3 operator no difference.

Been using Digi Smartplan nearly a year now, satisfied with it only Rm68 per month on top of my normal call and sms bill If I exceed 3GB limit, they just cut down the speed, no extra charge, If I'm not at home I turn my N8 to a hotspot to browse the net using my notebook in KL the coverage is quite good, not to mention the speed

For Discover Day Plan RM38 : * Average speed of 700kbps(d/l), 200kbps(u/l), from 7am-7pm. * After 7pm, speed will be throttled to 128kbps and P2P will be blocked.
Alternatively, you can use DiGi Prepaid Internet (starter pack RM25 for 5 days data).

Depends how you use lo, 500MB maybe sound very less, but it also has 100 local minutes and 30 local SMS, although can't utilise with iPad 3G
