If u were to use with the bumblebee playpen, it's sufficient because the base it's canvas.
My baby is using a wooden cot with a wooden base. So I bought 2pcs of the bumblebee mattress and put together. Better cuz the bed sheet fits 2 pcs of mattress better. |

I bought those using coconut husk type, cooler coz bb gets hot when sleeping, high tolerance against accidental pee pee on the bed, natural latex cannot tahan against pee pee. light weight.
One thing no good is its not as comfy as latex, latex is soft and comfortable |

QUOTE(digitax @ Apr 23 2011, 11:50 PM) Having a dilemma on which mattress to buy and where to buy .. doesnt seem to hv much option for newborn. Saw the bumblebee latex but seems thin. I'm using latex mattress bought from Metrojaya. It is about an inch thick with lots of holes. I would think thinness is an advantage to developed good back posture as I noted that in the newborn nursery at the hospital they also dun use thick/soft mattress. Any tips or recommendation to get a suitable one? I also bought 2 mattress protector for this latex mattress to cater for wash days. BTW I also bought 2 latex pillow for him. |

I had the coconut plus latex - Classical Pooh, which is hard and cooling.. and the price below RM200, My Love also selling something similar, which I think is pretty good.. I do not recommend soft mattress, its look good but don't think is good for babies

Get from Ikea. My hubby bought it for my baby and it's very comfy!
