QUOTE(Vox @ Apr 25 2011, 04:15 AM) this laptop can last for more than 3 hours on website browsing mode? you guys serious? anyone really try that before? cos base on the spec this laptop battery should be gone within 1 hour. and the salesman also told me this laptop quite makan battery. Added on April 25, 2011, 4:16 amthats the thing i m not sure about. maybe they used the wrong wallpapers or something? cos the wallpaper behind looks like a bit unclear. btw the advertisement shows it have 2TB of memory. but how come the list there is 750GB? i don't think that model is available in msia. but yeah the battery's life is pretty good.

( ex. 555GT, 550GT, 540GT. ) It's a theme. Switchable GPU means you may switch your GPU to whether Intel or AMD one to suit your needs, example like if you only do some web browsing which you don't do any intensive work which requires the use of GPU then you may switch to Intel in order to save battery life, and vice versa. HD6770 is running with 128bits.

Hang on... How come Acid_RuleZz' HWMonitor has a HDD readout and mine doesn't? @Vox: You have to switch manually. It's actually quite simply done: right-click and choose your graphics card. However, there is no indicator that tells you which card is currently active. As for comparisons with other graphics cars, I would point you to notebookcheck.net, but apparently a lot of people here don't trust that site's ranking of graphics cards. It's still pretty comprehensive, though and should give you a rough idea of where the dv6's card stands in relation to the nVidia GT555M This post has been edited by ThisIsBoletaria: Apr 25 2011, 06:58 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

To be honest, I don't know yet. I haven't found time to run a Crysis 2 benchmark for this, which should give enough info to compare the two in terms of real world frames-per-second performance. Whatever it is, the dv6's Radeon 6770M is probably the most powerful available in the Malaysian market, because I haven't seen any other notebooks around with a GT 555M.
