Well, those living in Malaysia who desire M18x can request GreaseMonkey90 to purchase M18x from Dell Canada on their behalf. In other words, they can choose to boycott Dell Malaysia by not buying M17x-R3. After the purchase is done, the M18x warranty can be transfered to Malaysia.

In short, such way can make Dell South Asia, in particular Dell Malaysia, lose out any potential profit they can gain by ensuring the availability of M18x in Malaysia. Besides that, it will make them regret their very decision not to release M18x in Malaysia.

Sorry for the harsh comment, guys. I just cannot help it, knowing that Dell Malaysia has denied us Malaysians the chance to easily own M18x.

damn, well...i dun mind helping you guys purchasing the M18x as well, but the mail system at my house is horrible, hence why i placed the delivery address of my M17x to my office....it is arriving this wednesday, since the courier service just called me up to confirm the time....i'm so excited!!!!

You can purchase M18x through GreaseMonkey90 or Rowan23. However, as putochip123 emphasized, M18x is not covered by warranty in Malaysia. I do not suppose that you would wait for weeks just to send back your M18x to its original place of purchase for minor repair, except for huge issues. For that, you must have decent knowledge in troubleshooting issues that may be encountered by M18x on your own. It is tough, but what to do?

for such an expensive item
it would be a waste should there be a lot of problems such as hinge
and if Malaysia really do not offer M18X...

it will be costly to get the item to be repaired
