Kelvin, so far no throttling issue when undervolt for me
but it does perform 5-10% slower compare to default voltage even though same core/mem speed.
But it help my m15x run cooler and better. no more sudden shutdown when gaming ( i have experience 1 time b4 when fan not set to full speed )

anyway any1 here tried IC diamond thermal Paste and 3M thermal pad ?

Received IC diamond from niclasteoh today.
Hope to test and share with u all.

already apply ic diamond and 3m thermal pad to cover most of 6970m card.
when idle not much different with as5.minus 1c only. but when in full load it really good.
i use 800/1000mhz setting with default voltage which is 1.1v.
max temp after hours of dirt 3 was 81c. previously with as5 it was 90c plus.

anyway duabijitelur, what happen to ur m15x.?

but ur laptop can run now.? overheat?

yes kelvin.both as5 and ic diamond tested in aircond room:) around 24-25c

dont let ur computer in sleep mode.
after wake up cannot adjust already huhu

why dont u all try atitool ?
i have no experience the system downclock to certain speed such as 300/600,
400/900. u can set what clock speed u want in 2d or 3d mode.
I running 100/150 at 0.85v in 2d mode
750/900 at 1.025v at 3d mode.

i monitor GPU clock with afterburner, and Trixx windows sidebar gadget
