Overall, the sleeve provides extra protection for the laptop but its quite a tight fit and for the 1st time use, its kinda hard to zip it.

2920XM on M17x-r3 need to use modded bios ler... then onli can OC... if dell willing to provide warranty for the mod, i shall request for the proc from u as a loan.. can aa... ehehehe....

u mean bottleneck? dun think so... extreme proc are built for overclocking since their multipliers are unlocked...
i googled it out, installing 2920XM on m17x-r3 will work, but the BIOS settings will be limited... even on 2820QM, on BIOS can only adjust BUS speed but not multipliers... i think 2820QM has a locked multipliers... the modded bios for 2920XM on m17x-r3 would enable user to play2 with both multipliers and bus speed... lower multiplier, higher bus speed, higher ram speed, higher proc clock, higher temps but with way better performance yo... damn i miss my OC days....

im working evening shift as always... so gonna sleep after this... eheheh...

yup, can OC but limited to bus speed onli... can play2 with multipliers... 2820QM after disabling intel speed step, the multiplier is locked at 23x and the bus speed on default is at 100mhz which make the proc run at 2.3ghz...
to OC better, which to increase proc clock and also the ram clock, need to lower the multiplier and increase the bus speed.. this need to be done by balance which u need to find a stable multiplier and bus speed to get the proc clock and ram clock that u desire... i think im blabbering alreadi... zzzzz

how to beat m18x lehh... put in 2920XM on m18x, can beat previous gen i7 alreadi.... maybe can fight m18x on graphic score but not processing power...

the proc score gonna beat my score d... zzzzz

i've notice that illegear is selling it quite expensive... even the IC Diamond TIM add-on for the sager laptops cost RM124... crazy.... buying the TIM itself onli cost u RM29 for the 7 Carat and RM80 for the 24 Carat...
but as per told by mr putochip123, IC diamond TIM is not suitable to be use in malaysia... but i bought 1 alreadi... T_T...

back to the HDD slot, i think u can try checking out ebay or other online site for a better pricing... then compare the price with the ones illegear is selling...
what SSD u have in mind? crucial c300?? Intel X-25M? intel 320? intel 520? for SSD advice, u can ask putochip123 or GreaseMonkey90... SSD pros...

currently checking and comparing my 3dmark11 between the beta drive and the new driver... probably nvidia build the new drive specifically for Dx10/dx11.... zzzzz
