QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ May 19 2011, 06:40 PM) MG Astraea would be a good package given its similarity to Exia and truckload of accessories. Surprisingly even a grunt like GN-X got an MG release and yet none of the other 3 protagonists got any love, nor the popular Graham suits. GN-X because there are many variations to it, perhaps? I remember they announced a variation of it to be released this year (i forgot whether it's Advanced GN-X or GN-X IV).
QUOTE(golbeza @ May 19 2011, 08:17 PM) anyone fancy a Full Sabre for MG OOQ? Or better yet, an MG 00 Twin Sword Quanta

QUOTE(General_Nic @ May 19 2011, 10:15 PM) sure! u saved the day! but u r in Penang rite? So that makes him an envelope and a 30sen stamp away from you.
QUOTE(Tiger I @ May 19 2011, 11:51 PM) Much of my Gundams and Zakus are beyond repair (mostly 1/144) due to pindah rumah (I wasn't there because of exam last year), so I'm planning to mod. From what I can salvage, I manage to save GM Sniper beam rifle with holding hands, a Zaku I round shoulder shield, beam sniper rifle, backpack, machine gun, a Zaku II shoulder shield, a Gouf Custom backpack, and Janice (if I'm not mistaken) machine gun thingy. I already mod the Blue Destiny unit 2 wrist to accept older GM Sniper hands. Any ideas will be useful in modding this blue thingy. I love the design and articulations, but don't really fancy the colours though. Okay, imagine this:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 1) Put the Zaku I round shoulder shield on the left shoulder and the Zaku II shoulder shield on the right. 2) Attach the Zaku I sniper rifle over the left shoulder (like Full Armor Gundam). 3) Use whichever backpack you feel like using. 4) Leave the GM Sniper rifle as his main weapon since you already have the hands. Other machine guns could be attached to the side of the legs. 5) Since you hate the color scheme, go with the RX-78G's color scheme or use Full Armor Gundam's dark green and orange color scheme.
QUOTE(General_Nic @ May 20 2011, 12:39 AM) someone challenge with PG ARF pls No need to challenge.
Any Gundam of any grade can do that provided the weight of the upper body is the same as the legs. It doesn't even have to be well-articulated.

QUOTE(Tiger I @ May 20 2011, 01:46 AM) Thanks for the thoughts Parody Since it's using Zaku's part, it should be a Zeon scavenged Gundam right? It's your own custom Gundam. You come up with your own back story! It could be anything!!!

QUOTE(Tiger I @ May 20 2011, 01:56 AM) I see I see. I thought that there might be certain rules to be followed in customing own mobile suits There is ONLY one rule when customizing kits: be creative.

QUOTE(madmoz @ May 20 2011, 02:15 PM) supposedly the chinese version has 4 LEDs in box. I suppose some of the local shops would be getting that instead. Seems that Bandai's trying to woo back the Chinese customers after suing the imitations...
QUOTE(Agito666 @ May 20 2011, 02:27 PM) but sometimes kena add some common sense la XD because sometimes what you think "creative" but in our eyes are not... so what for your works you think "creative" enough but customers/buyers/target audiance is not. That's the problem.
People always think about how to satisfy others when you're customizing your own kit. Unless you're doing a commission job or entering a competition, the sole person you're looking to satisfy is yourself.

QUOTE(MyKy44 @ May 22 2011, 10:59 PM) who can spot the not? parody and SG kenot answer cos they sure know one I wanted to guess it had Perfect Zeong's legs installed but... oh well.
QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ May 23 2011, 04:50 AM) But this is the way the MG Astray should have been. Fat, chunky legs instead of the skinny ankles. They had to give us an uglier version. They already nailed it with the PG ARF, and obviously, the MG must not be as good looking as the PG to retain the PG's uniqueness. It happens all the time.
QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ May 23 2011, 04:50 AM) Let's see whether an MG Amatsu will be released... with the giant backpack and bling bling parts it'll cost a bomb. Unless they give us MG SF "gold".

QUOTE(Odinn @ May 23 2011, 11:37 AM) Hey all, Don't know if this is the right place to ask but hope you guys can help me here. I want to order some parts for some of my MG kits which have been "mishandled" aka broken I'd want to get parts for 5 of my kits. I asked HLJ since they were able to get me some parts before but this time they said that they would not be able to determine when they will be able to get the parts as their parts department was "dismantled" before the earthquake and is now significantly delayed because of the earthquake. So question is, where else can I go to ask to order parts from? This is for Bandai MG 1/100 kits. Thanx in advance Seems like people in this thread like to ignore serious questions...
Okay, Allfather. If it's still new and wrapped in plastic, most retailers could get replacements for you. If you already assembled it and you yourself is the one responsible for the mishandling, you could try emaling bandaiactionkit@bandai.co.jp and ask them whether replacements are available and where you can get them.
Alternatively, you could try emailing info@gginifinte.com as they provide parts replacement service as well.
Remember that it would be costly.

QUOTE(Agito666 @ May 23 2011, 10:25 PM) what if i accident cut RG's zzaku balls? cost how much for that replacement? rm40? I thought Char had 3x more of everything?
Not so sure if the service is for RGs. I only heard it's for MGs. If replacement is available, they would send the whole runner to you. Including postage fees, it would be 30-40% of the kit's price.

QUOTE(Odinn @ May 23 2011, 10:41 PM) Thank you for getting back to me, I was following the thread in the office today hoping for an answer and not being labelled a troll Any experience ordering parts/runners? HLJ took a few weeks the last time and I got it eventually, wonder if other options could be faster than HLJ this time around.. 1) Get a Japan proxy. 2) Order your parts here: https://bandai-hobby.net/partsorder/index4.html 3) Have that proxy send it to you with the fastest courier service.
Takes less than a week.

QUOTE(guarayakha @ May 24 2011, 02:10 PM) Thank god it's from Kotobukiya. I'd cry tons if it was Hagesawa. Hopefully this somehow means a surprise ZOE3 announcement at E3. LOL if it's from Hasegawa, prepare yourself for some serious watersliding action.
By the way, were there any news or rumors that a ZOE3 game will be out? I never heard or seen it.

QUOTE(guarayakha @ May 24 2011, 05:48 PM) I dunno, I usually opted to just make up some original color schemes than use their crazy watersliders. The problem I had with Hagesawa (just recently built that Myzr kit) is that they tend to separate parts into tiny pieces that serves no purpose be it for painting or assembling (Fun fact: There's 20 parts in a single foot). That Myzr kit had nice tight joints to allow it to hold its heavy weapons without the arm bending down due to gravity, but said joints are connected to a group of fragile inner frame pieces. Even when glued together I fear moving the arm will break it apart sooner or later So much for a transforming mech kit. Man, talk about redundancy.
Makes me kinda glad i didn't preorder the Myzr Gamma version.
QUOTE(guarayakha @ May 24 2011, 05:48 PM) That's why I hope it's a surprise. There has been no news other than "Kojima and friends wanted to make one". Maybe they would, after Kojima wraps up the Metal Gear series.

Hmm... the Action Base 3 is really impressive after reading about it here.

QUOTE(General_Nic @ May 24 2011, 08:26 PM) AB3 is kinda space consuming imo, but it has left right tilting axis which AB1 dun have At least there's a space there for you to put your girlfriend/wife's picture and hope that she won't scold you for buying GunPla.
QUOTE(guarayakha @ May 24 2011, 08:57 PM) Haha, well to be fair, it's still quite an interesting kit, but I won't be getting that Gamma even though I like it. Well, maybe I'll consider buying another if they came up with the commander variants, but I'll stick to Kotobukiya's OT models from now Less stressful. Yeah but Koto's kits are kinda... less detailed? Or maybe the VO designs they chose were originally bland to begin with.
By the way, do you have the Koto's Fei Yen Knight kit? Any comments on this one?
QUOTE(guarayakha @ May 24 2011, 08:57 PM) Kojima- Forever making his "last" MGS game. I guess until the franchise isn't making good money anymore.

QUOTE(guarayakha @ May 24 2011, 11:34 PM) The Feiyen Knight kit is great, btw. What sets it apart from the Hagesawa Feis is that the Koto Fei has a hip joint and is technically safer to play around with. Excellent. Might just pick her up when she re-releases this June/July.
QUOTE(divinelight @ May 25 2011, 09:35 AM) it IS Jehuty that will released, the name in Japanese read as "Jehuti" Anubis means the series is from Anubis Zone of the Ender You're absolutely right. What we're saying is, if Jehuty is gonna be released, there's a high chance Anubis might be too.
QUOTE(asuk @ May 25 2011, 11:59 AM) just finished my RG strike. i'm calling it nu-strike Awesome work, asuk. Now go get an IWSP pack for him!

QUOTE(General_Nic @ May 25 2011, 11:01 PM) lol, the famously problematic MG Strike Freedom can get no.1 It's judged on a number of criteria, and not just issues with the kit itself.
I don't trust the poll mainly because of the absence of: 1) RX-178 MK-II 2.0 AEUG/Titans 2) Zaku II 2.0 Char Custom 3) The ever so popular The O
And the presence of: 1) GM Custom 2) Zeta 1.0 3) RX-78-2 1.0 4) Zaku II 1.0 Mass Production Type
Now you really gotta wonder who did Dengeki Hobby ask for the poll?
