QUOTE(craziechild @ Jul 31 2011, 01:09 AM) I would ditch the HU and pre-amp, get a HU with active xover and everything etc built in. +1And the rear, I would suggest you to ditch them as well. Use that monEy to do sp or top up to the front component, QUOTE(ILikePie @ Jul 31 2011, 11:05 AM) Oh o. Hmm, the HU already installed in my car liao. So how? so use the money from rear speaker and pre amp to upgrade your front speaker, or upgrade the 4ch ampAnd the front speakers would be MTX TX6. It comes with a crossover. |

QUOTE(cheesycake @ Aug 4 2011, 09:07 AM) Can someone recommend me a woofer for around Rm 600? I'm using this amp : http://www.banleongbros.com/car_products/r...k_xtr12001d.htm just look for a single voice coil 4ohm subwoofer with rms rating around 200W, for Rm600 should be a number of choicesSpecs are on the website. (The XTR-500.1) Or is it better to get 2 subs and wire them at 2 ohms? or a dual voice coil 4ohm sub rated around 300-350W, and wire it in parallel, this would be my choice... the amp is not high powered enuff to run 2 or more subs, if run 2 svc subs in parallel at 2ohm , each sub only gets 190W, and if u run 2 units dvc subs parallel at 1ohm, each gets around 250W |

QUOTE(ILikePie @ Sep 24 2011, 10:00 AM) Sifus, only use one, switch amp one off, use hu one.. nothing bad will happen, but u will be getting 80hz not 100hz from the subI noticed my amp's LPF(80 Hz) is on. But I already set the LPF on the HU at 100Hz. Will anything bad happen from this? Or I should just bypass amp's LPF and use the HU's? |

try taking out the tweeter and change sides, if now right sounds louder then tweeter problem, if still left side louder then maybe passive xover or amp output problem.
