Guys, I have been reading till 2016 posts lol...noted that public bank vs gives 1.25%...just wanna check is it worthwhile to apply another card eg: AmBank world mc, aeon card or even the Bank Rakyat if the rate is way cheaper...as I go overseas quite often...wanna save on exchange rates. And good not to carry so much cash as well.
Maybe for aeon and AmBank world 1% is not much difference.
Bank Rakyat if 0% worth considering! But is it well accepted worldwide?
Thanks for your advice!

QUOTE(SamD @ Feb 22 2018, 01:56 PM) I'm in the same boat like you and just got the Bank Rakyat Platinum mastercard for my recent overseas trip. With the 0% markup on all overseas transactions it's really worth it. It's mastercard so it's accepted worldwide. Wow sounds like a good deal! Thanks SamD, is this the card which you’re referring to? https://ringgitplus.com/en/credit-card/Bank...#ReadMoreReview By the way, is it due to they’re having some kind of promotion now? Thank you

QUOTE(SamD @ Feb 26 2018, 08:33 PM) Yes, it's the Platinum Mastercard you referred to from RinggitPlus link. However, I applied directly to the branch. The 0% markup on all overseas transactions is not a promotion, but it's one of the card features according to Bank Rakyat's website. Thank you so much SamD!
