the posted rate by aeon was vary from 100 yen = rm 3.6773 - 3.6778
when the actual visa rate drop, the aeon rate still in the same range

last time i heard ppl said using cc overseas can get better rate comparing to exchange to cash... but it seems like using cash is still better unless got rebate

Not sure whether this was asked before but does all Aeon card has the same conversion rate ? (visa to visa comparison)(aeon gold vs aeon watami vs aeon big). They are all under Aeon Credit right?

may I know that why ambank can give the best rate?

I just call few bank that
maybank master/visa rate is 2.25 percent bank charge
other bank is 1percent charge.

since most of the bank give same charge, why ambank can give better rate?

as I know, mastercard rate is better than visa referring to visa and mastercard website. is that correct? or there is any hidden charge for mastercard.

Yes, MasterCard rate is usually better than Visa. However, if the purchase is less than RM100, I believe you won't bother about the difference. In the case above, I believe you can conclude that Ambank MasterCard is having a better rate than Ambank Visa card.

Not necessarily. People say SCB jumpstart card have really good exchange rate. Only issue is it is a debut card.
