Yes, can use CC. Advice you to call the bank to inform that you will be using your CC there.

From my experience, the rate is not much difference if I use it in Aus or at other oversea countries.

may I know that why ambank can give the best rate?

I just call few bank that
maybank master/visa rate is 2.25 percent bank charge
other bank is 1percent charge.

since most of the bank give same charge, why ambank can give better rate?

as I know, mastercard rate is better than visa referring to visa and mastercard website. is that correct? or there is any hidden charge for mastercard.

thanks

for some credit cards, if the charges only 1%, seems like we no longer need to prepare so much cash when travel to foreign country, right?

cash only needed for merchant that doesnt accept credit card payment right?

Please bear in mind that bank's forex is also higher than general money changer.
That 1% is in addition to what differences of forex.

However, there are times the forex could be lower/higher than cash notes as it fluctuates from time to time.

Usually you can tell them you wish to sign and they shall facilitate it. You can request the pin from the bank..call cs to ask how. So far, i dont have any pin for all my cards
