i guess if u bring in by yourself shouldn't be any problem..my friend last time help me bring in Headamp and Nexus One from Singapore no problem..and u should refer to Benny's record..in the past 3 years no problem..

from my experience ordering and deliver by DHL, they can handle everything for u.
then they will send right to your doorstep and prompt u a bill..with handling charges..

Hi, not sure is this new or already posted..
I ordered mine from UK website, and I just received an email says that their batch of UK set (I9100) doesn't comes with NFC equipped.
So if u're going to order your sgs2, and if u need nfc, please consider before buy.




for me NFC is nothing, and u can't use it wisely enough in Malaysia.
Unless you're from US, google is making up the NFC payment mode with the bankers,
and UK, by 2012 UK should be everywhere NFC, heard is bcoz of Olympic..

but no friends surround me got nfc phone..only me..nexus s.
then at my place here, no one use nfc for business card tagging..
no one use nfc for monthly parking scan and so on..
yea, our identity card can be tagged by nfc, but empty details inside..

sometimes I take time to read back it really takes time.
Especial when u read back v3,v2,v1 for those which has
too many version..

my phone is with DHL now ..just dispatched out by Handtec today

DHL is 4~6 working days..
estimated on 10th May..I guess..

sure..will update you guys how much total cost I have spent inclusive custom declaring..

the phone already with DHL.. successfully or unsuccessfully in your sense
is regarding to the package will arrive to my doorstep or no ?

for me this is necessary, otherwise our country earn what?
you will pay tax to LHDN for your PCB too..

if you wait for local original set, they pay tax as well.
Just that the price I bought from oversea is their region recommended
selling price, or their company market price. Of course local distributors
will get their distribution price and sell to dealers with dealers price, and
yet the phone has been taxed after all. So when you go to the shop to buy,
normally people will think this is the safest way.

for me, I'm not aiming for the cheapest deal, but I just want to get my phone as early as possible

ship to Singapore, the courier charges not much different compare ship to Malaysia.
Then when arrived Singapore, you have to pay GST and maybe duty fee (i'm not sure about
duty fee but GST is a must) then only you bring in to Malaysia.

When you ship from Singapore as a gift, you have to repack it..
if you have no luck, custom will still hold your phone and require you to apply
the Sirim.. unless you ask your fren from Singapore to bring in to Malaysia personally..not
by any courier company.

when arrived here I have to pay tax..

and then another story from DHL agent told me, he has a client left a phone in HK hotel. The hotel staff use DHL to courier back the phone to the owner, arrived Malaysia Custom hold the phone.. and just happened his phone is an AP set and he has to pay SIRIM for custom..eventually he didn't want the phone he just ask for the SIM card only..

I mean the shipping cost from UK to Malaysia and UK to Singapore should be not much different..
then, if Singapore no tax, but still have to pay for GST..

I think Handtec is the first one got stock and they are the earliest batch of dispatch ..

then maybe u will see quad-core cpu powered smartphone..and u might want to wait..
then u might want to wait for iphone 6 or iphone 5s/5Gs or so on..
