aihyo, so long wait for this phone... wait wait wait.... then next year, again the same hype but over quad cores. that time i want to see, how much smoother can the browser be.
why no koreans wanna review their phone???
There're several reviews of course, but mostly useless for you because they are sort of promotional reviews or in korean, like this. Samsung said they would begin selling Galaxy S2 at the same time when they hold the media day. They are now arranging the media day date(it would be 28th or 29th this month), while all of three carriers are now receiving reservation.
Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is a digital radio transmission technology developed in South Korea as part of the national IT project for sending multimedia such as TV, radio and datacasting to mobile devices such as mobile phones. This technology, sometimes known as mobile TV, should not be confused with Digital Audio Broadcasting which was developed as a research project for the European Union. DMB was originally developed in South Korea as the next generation digital technology to replace the FM radio. The world's first official mobile TV service started in South Korea in May 2005, although trials were available much earlier. It can operate via satellite (S-DMB) or terrestrial (T-DMB) transmission. DMB has also some similarities with the main competing mobile TV standard, DVB-H.

"stop rendering" is just my guess because checkerboard in the world of graphics design means transparency, something like a space of void that allows background images to be visible. Makes sense as my guess would be the zoom process actually involves the phone taking a screenshot of the page, resize it based on finger movement and then render the webpage based on zoom level.
The reason I wanna identify the rendering method is coz i wanna find a browser that has that implementation, and compare both rendering methods. Pretty sure the Sensation will not have that rendering style.
Unless, the whole thing is actually due to hardware acceleration (which I've read from youtube comments).
Anyway, by 'refocus' you mean the text become blur? Or 'text reflow'?
will it be an answer?

Synthetic benchmarking aside, browsing with our Galaxy S II felt very snappy and smooth. The browser here has taken a trick out of Apple's Safari book, as it stops rendering the page when you do pinch-to-zoom or double-tap, to ensure fluid execution, and resumes when you lift your fingers off.
I think you had better wait for local launch, or if you are waiting for HTC sensation or iPhone5 or whatever, then had better wait for these phone's launching. No need to rush for a shining new phone, time is on your side. With time passing you will get a lot of reviews, discounts(maybe) and patiences.
