"badly damage" is probably the wrong phrase. Perhaps she meant the correction required is bad enough that you have to wait a few days for them to get the lens. Most shops keep stock of common lenses, so you can get your glasses almost immediately. But I could never do this. Both my eyes are over 600, and I'm told most shops do not keep stock in this range.
