QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 29 2011, 02:13 PM) I have used the Galaxy S before but only a month. On both its default stock rom and several cooked Froyo with added Voodoo lag fixes - I find is still perform poorly. I got a lot of brickbats ( all PM ) from SGS fans when I openly said in the SGS threads it was the worst Android smartphone I have ever used. I score it a 5 against the Nexus One ( 10), HD2 on Android ( 8-9 ), Dell Streak ( 8) . I find those criticizing me forgot that I also bought the phone with my own money - why should I have bad comments about it if I am happy with it. Infact one of the fanboy even PM me again last month to tell me to try latest 2.2.1 and change my opinion about it. I do agree with the latest 2.2.1 it probably improve a lot but sadly I don't have a phone to test it Totally agree with you. Had both and despite having more or less the same specs, the Tab is way smoother than my SGS YES - the Galaxy Tab even in its stock rom is way much better than the SGS ; is a fact and a undeniable fact as far as I am concerned. Some guys might disagree - well is OK ; this is what make the world exciting. If everybody agree with everyone it will be a darn boring world |

QUOTE(mono @ May 13 2011, 09:42 AM) Guys, just wanna confirm this before i buy my SGT this weekend. So far I had no problem playing back my 1080p movies. Works flawlessly. Files will depends on yr player. Hope that helpsI'm in a Electronic Security System line of business (e.g. CCTV, Electric Fence, etc.). Whenever i go to meet my client, i have to play a few samples of CCTV recording, in .avi. Some of them are huge files, like the one for High Definition (HD) cameras, one of the file is 32 seconds at 49.2MB. And, there's a lot more HD recording files. My Atom netbook really can't handle them. My question are:- 1. Can SGT handle the playback of HD video files smoothly and flawlessly? Because my presentation cannot sucks with incapable hardware :-) 2. What are the video files that SGT can play? What are the video files format that I have to convert to play in SGT? 3. Is there any maximum resolutions OR sizes of HD video files that SGT can handles? Thanks in advance. |
