I sold off my ipad due to its limited functions/features when comes to work creation. Not only I have to buy additional apps for file management its poor keyboard editing features was a killer. Never understand why Apple with its technology cannot even come up with simple edit features in a keyboard. I bought the latest MacBook Air 11' to replace it - it is similar in size/weight but can do so much more and productive
My personal needs of a portable tablet - The Galaxy Tab scores higher than the iPAD mainly on size, weight, great portability, superb email content download ( ipad was horribly bad and terribly slow ). What I need on the ipad I can similarly do if not even better on the Tab. I need not worry about taking it out - it fits nicely inside my long pant side pockets even with the book casing on. It can be used to make phone calls and camera features is another bonus. The presence of a micro SD card makes file swapping, transfer so much easier and convenient. File management on the ipad is just too much hassle - need iTunes and for certain file formats need other supporting apps to effect transfer thro iTunes. Bought the CCK which I feel is just a waste of money and a poorly designed half baked product.
Those who like games, The Ipad I feel is still a better gaming machine due to its bigger screen, display and more apps. As I do not play games , so this is unimportant to me

Battery life is excellent - refer page 1 I did post up several reviews on battery life. Normal usage 10 hours is no problem - equally good as the ipad
New sets now extremely cheap RM 1400 to 1500 original set with3G/wireless vs RM 2699 when it was newly launch. I feel is not worth buy the WiFI only set as its CPU is lower grade, bluetooth downgraded, GPU downgraded too

I have 2 headsets now, an Aliph Jawbone Icon (superb noise cancellation, not so good battery life) and a Jabra Extreme (ok noise cancellation, good battery life) - both work pretty well with both my Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab. Jawbone was almost RM400, and the Extreme was RM300. May not fit your criteria of 'cheap'.

wow,so expensive cry.gif

how about the cheaper models ranging from rm100 - 150?

how do I know that the headset will be compatible with galaxy tab?

I could be wrong here, but don't voip apps require Bluetooth audio support aka a2dp? the headset profile is just for normal voice calls, no?
