Pavilion just 'officially' took over the management on 1 april 2016. Lets see what can they work out!

But mall not only sell apparels , they also sell electronic , gadgets , household items , books , grocery etc etc etc , those are facing challenges from online stores. It is already happening in a lot of other countries.

Then maybe is i old man style abit..usually i only purchase books, figure/toys via online..

For groceries like food and makan, electronic related, daily usage items, i still prefer to "touch & feel" before make purchases..

there are retail-shops at da:men right. How does the performance of these?

Boss, i assuming price from physical store and online is the same. Then i already went to the store touch it and feel it, why would i want to go home n make purchase? But not buy the item on the spot from the physical store?

I mean no offend on online business or any1 who made online purchases in a regular basis. I just personally felt that online shopping trend will not easily take over traditional physical store in Malaysia in recent years. Malaysia is not as canggih as those developed countries, our delivery services also a lot slower as compare with them.

Its actually the brands decides to come or not and based on this vicinity its still a far cry....

Even 1 utama..don't have luxury brands...so...lol

U get to pick and choose the apples and pears, etc that U want, and then go back home to order those same apples, pears, etc.

usualy online got discount or installment or goodies if not most will still buy physical stores.for example with certain credit card on9 purchases auto got 5 <% rebates

Stuff that i bought online before:
1. Clothes
2. Hats
3. Books
4. Seeds
5. Photography accessories
6. Furniture
7. Sewing machine accessories
8. Old cameras

Dont see why online shopping has nowhere to go but flourish. When i was in Korea, substantial transaction was made online, majority was from G-Market. Malaysia got Lazada nowadays. Online shopping could only get better. In the US and other developed countries people go to malls to see physically electrical appliances etc but they dont buy at the mall. They go back and order online cos the price is cheaper. In the long run, conventional retail will be under pressure. The gen-Ys and Zs will drive this online purchasing culture whereby the old timers will stick to the conventional purchases. When all old timers no more, conventional retail will get slower and slower.

But developer will still build and sell and manage malls which will die slowly (bcos they dont adapt)
