Agreed, need to give it more time. But need atleast an anchor tenant to bring life into the premise. Last but not least, supports from SS2 residents themselves is very important.

I feel that SS2 Mall should be designed as a neighbourhood mall, in my opinion it is currently too big for that area. A bit too ambitious.

In terms of size, it should be something like the Centre Point in BU, then I think it will do much better.

The developer should start with that size, but allow for future expansion. Limit the spaces in the beginning and make it always look "crowded". Crowd attracts crowd, this strategy should work in that community.

Had studied and worked in Singapore for 8 years in the 90's, such tight parking spaces are common in land scarce Singapore, maybe the architect is a Singaporean firm.
