SS2 mall is a failure since it open begin 2011, (the % taken up is low, almost 1/2 year)

the other more relevant reasons are : o the more accessible Tropicana Mall is just up the road, around the corner; and it is doing quite well o perhaps this SStwo mall will take off once Ameera & 5stones occupancy starts to rise .. Ameera VPed long time dy ... but at this juncture, the best hope for sstwo mall is the nearby condos .. so it can be like a neighbourhood mall, but to do that, you need a Giant/Tesco or even a Jaya Grocer/Village Grocer type of store to bring in traffic .. I know people purposely go to Tropicana to watch movies because it is easiest to get tickets .. so there you go ... perhaps look at opening small screens to bring in crowd as well ... if not, what's the niche .. why would people go there ...  UE3 .. I don't know, they have revamped it to some Home Improvement hypermart .. should be interesting .. I should visit it one of these days ...  |
