it's confirmed that Gingerbread's bootloader is backward compatible, tat way u wont have to keep changing ur bootloaders. LOL.. just flash straight nxt time la.. if u keep flashing bootloaders, then higher risk of bricking ur phone. LOL.. jkjk

the firmwares that last the longest for me is Darky's v8.0 and this JS8. battery life ah, for me normal usage can last for a day la.. it's smooth i have to say smile.gif

here, an easier method, only have to flash bootloader then use CWM to install ur preferred custom Gingerbread rom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1047924
