No idea about freezing an app but when you rename by appending .bak to the filename, the app will be uninstalled.

Remove .bak from filename and the app will be reinstalled

The camera is certainly more capable than I originally thought. only qualms is the absence of xenon flash

both camera and video look much better than my brother's htc desire.
I don't have those apps in /system/app folder. No problem with google sync but I can't tell about fb sync because I don't use it.

Owh...OK..like that arr..need to flashing again..arr..penat.
Need to try.. Maybe don't delete..but just move the files to external sd card for backup.

i myself havent frozen those apps..haha
my phone has been on batter for about 1 day, 13 hours and 20 mins now!
battery is currently at 23%!

oh yea, i downloaded an app called SetCPU and changed its setting to "Conservative"
cuz by default, our CPU is set at "On Demand" which eats up alot of our batt. i read this somewhere on XDA
