Agreed with you so far so good free calls sum more :-) however the upload is quite slow at 512kbps for 4 Mbps combo and the speed between VIP 5 for Unifi is not much different it doesn't comes with iptv and the upload speed is not 5 Mbps .

However the data transfer is unlimited compare to VIP 5 . If u wish to go at high speed upload at 5 Mbps pls take  Biz5 Unifi but it doesn't come with IPTV. My personal view i don't need iptv since i already have astro beyond. Compare to unlimited data transfer for Biz5 u don't need local content anymore . Biz5 charged for calls for fix line calls

I don't know about your router, maybe you can try to look for if there's DSL Modulation setting?
I'm using Linksys router, and it has 8 types of modulation modes to choose, plus one MultiMode, which is Auto, to choose from.

fileserve using 218 ip i can get around 200 - 260kb/s using free account.

I'm back to 5120kbps. Guys, how much upstream speed for 4mbps? Last time my neighbour complaint tm about slow upstream speed, then TM upgrade his upload speed from 512kbps to 712kbps. No joke. I see his modem setting and clearly see his download is 5120kbps and upload is 712kbps.

I wouldn't dare to ask the technician cap me at 7mbps, dunno stable or not.

I think I will call the technician to upgrade upload speed too cos it is only 388kbps, not even up to 80% of 512kbps.

It is always on INTERLEAVE mode. People say FAST is better for gaming, but I don't play online games. Only download movies, so INTERLEAVE should be fine I guess.

I got 512 but if I run speedtest only get 388kbps, so not up to 80%. So can complaint TM again 

I think the SNR and attenuation if something to do with how far your house to the TM CABINET. And also what mode you're on. I'm on G.dmt mode, not ADSL+2. I dunno why.

You should take Blockbuster deal... RM140 included with phone rental and free call to TM fixed lines nationwide...

If i'm not mistaken, for Super Deal Packages, your contract will be renewed to another two years...

Then you only can change to BB Deal on March 2012...
But I have heard someone here (don't remember who) managed to change their package to BB deal succesfully...

its dangerous sometime to cap yours at 5120.. unstable port and caused hang..

haiz, happy just for 3 days, after that having problem.. start with no dial tone, no internet, now my speed downdgrade back to 2 mb.. shhhtttt... u tm
have to call back to setup again. profile to 4 mb..

Went to Telekom at 11.30am this morning to upgrade from 1M to BB 4M Deal, reached home at 7pm.

Saw there was no internet connection, so log in to router to see what had happened.

IP assigned but no internet connection, and something caught my eyes, Downstream/upstream Data rates is 4092/509 instead of usual 1536/512.

WTF ? They can act so fast ? Anyway, isn't it suppose to be 4096 ? What's with the odd 4092 download cap ?

Quickly reboot the router, get a new range of IP, tried few times, only manage to get 114 and 115 range.

The I go to speedtest.net to test it out.

Oh crap, the ping to cyberjaya is at the shitty 42~55ms, the download/upload speed is still at the old 1.33 /0.43 range.

My old 60.48, 60.49 and 60.50 1M ip range can get 25ms Ping to Cyberjaya and Singapore, 55ms to HK.

I hope this is just a temporary result, 42~55ms only can get yellow bar connection in SSF4 online battle with local player.

Another thing is the ADSL type field is blank, last time when cap at 1536, they type is "Fast".
