QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Sep 12 2011, 05:20 AM) Since your phone line are split into several ports at your house, the for any additional ports available in your house, you need to install an ADSL splitter in order to filtered out the DSL Noise... DSL Signal actually runs out to every phone jack at your house, and you need to filter it by using that thingy... that's why you're experiencing a noisy sound when trying to make a calls as well as receiving the call... You can buy it from any IT and sometime, hardware shop also sell it... DSL Splitter usually looked like this ; so all my phone in the house need to put this dsl splitter?

QUOTE(iipohbee @ Dec 20 2011, 04:11 PM) Yes, you're eligible because you're renewing another contract with them and that makes you no different from a NEW subscriber because you'll be tied for another 12 months. You're not paying anything less than a new order. Not just modem, but the new Panasonic cordless phone as well. i asked the technician about getting a new modem but he said that if my modem spoiled only he will give a new modem to me... so he is lying right? do all technician do that... lol thanks for the reply... and may i know does all the contracts last for 12 months or there are half a year or lower contract periods..

QUOTE(iipohbee @ Dec 20 2011, 04:38 PM) As long as you upgrade, you're considered renewing the whole contract. You should ask them back, if like that then will my old contract tenure still continue on or if it has already ended so will I have no contract for this upgrade? If yes, then you are better not taking that cheap modem they supply. Make sure they provide a black & white slip/receipt for confirmation so they don't argue with you in future. I mean it's not worth it for that Riger or Innacom crap toy. {EDIT} Under the Home Plan 4M conditions, it says your modem must be a 4-port switch and a wireless AP. The cordless phone must also be a higher end Panasonic not the crap Aztech for lower end packages.... You're paying more than a Unifi 5M customer minus the IPTV and speed. You deserve better equipment supply. thanks for your help... may i know is the 4mbps unlimited like the 1mbps? (just to recomfirm)
