i hear my friend said 4m combo package got free streamyx wifi id ?? can surf internet at any tm hotspot zone with "free" it is true??

Anyone who stay at taman cheras makmur / taman midah (KL) can get 4mb package? I tired of using 1mb for over 7 years with same price rm110...therefore i try to apply to upgrade to 4mb through an agent.

After waiting 2 weeks and nobody call me, then i ask 100 but they say my area not support 4mb...but my housemate alrdy got their unifi 5mb for over 2 years already. 2 years ago i also try apply 4mb but reject with same excuse: area not supported...so funny, area got unifi but dont have 4mb streamyx, and tm telemarketing agent keep call me every month and promote their unifi. My modem attainable rate is 14224Kbps for downstream although current capped at 2047Kbps..

the reason i dont want to apply unifi is the cost of unifi installation, and i maybe will move to stay another area within one year, i dont want to pay nearly rm1000 just for the new house need additional installation cable....

guys, i need quick answer here, currently im on 1mb package, so if i upgrade to 4mb is it mean i will have new contract (1 year contract again)?

HI everyone!! I wanna upgrade to Unifi from my 1mbps package. But the TM salesgirl told me that Sabah only will get Unifi by the end of this year. She also suggested me to upgrade to 4mbps 1st because 4mbps is now using fibre. So that later on when unifi reached KK, it is easier for me to upgrade to unifi from 4mbps... Izzit true??

2) how long does it take to upgrade?
3) and if once graduate can continue using at that speed and price?
4) and also from the time register to the contractor coming will the internet and telephone line still be working?
or will they cut first?

btw, they still haven't set my speed to 4MB, still stuck at 2MB speed. call 100 but they said alr did their part but later d technician said d DSLAM still needs to be reconfigured

that means streamyx can log in from two different place? or if someone use my account, then i cannot use, means only one time log in per telephone number/location?

hey guys,i am using streamyx 1mbps package (no bb deal),if i upgrade to 4mbps bb package by online upgrade need any activation fee and installation fee? thanks.

DSL now not having any lights and no ringtone.
Is that normal during the progress of upgrading? Can't call 100 since the phone is not working.
