Lol, thanks guys for the reply.

As recomended caltex petrol is better in terms of power and more millage? Ron 95 or 97? Currently i am using shell ron 95, last time i use the shell ron 97 Vpower, but the price now increase until crazy, tats y i pump ron95. I heard ppl say Petronas Ron95 will be better among the others, izzit true?

I stay in cheras , i think Caltex station is dificult to find in Cheras area, i think there is only 2 station there, 1 at LM and 1 near Maluri right? Btw Caltex have any Credit Card that give rebate such as Citibank Shell?

I gonna do my fourt service, any engine oil recomended interms of better performance? Last time i brought it to SC they give me Petronas Sytrim 800 Semi Sync. And i dunno they got change the plug or nor coz now i having difficult start problem. Need to press the accelerator only can start -.- . As said my millage now almost 19k.
*
U can use citibank for all the petrol stations in msia and u will receive the rebate.. I just checked it yesterday when i was pumping Caltex. Shell as we all know its the worst petrol to pour.. It doesnt give u average mileage, it gives u horrible mileage. My car with Shell ron95 only can get 290km per full tank, but with Petronas Xtra i get 530km, esso easily 450km+ per tank and Caltex around 450km a tank.. But petronas no power to overtake lah.. I prefer Caltex cos got more power and very much smoother..

hey got new ATF launched by Proton and Petronas ATF-XP3 RM30.46 per liter, it will replace the current ATF-SP111 RM30.91 per liter for all Proton SC, so Xan and Zeng going to service will be the lab rats ? laugh.gif
*
Hmmm.. Slightly cheaper.. But can tahan longer or not? Thats the main question. Nevertheless I will change it at 15k km..

Esso oso not bad worrr..... tongue.gif .....

Dunno you all ok or not with it la.... blink.gif
*
Yeah i used Esso b4 Caltex.. I like Esso's more violent power delivery at low end, Caltex very smooth and low and maintains all the way to high end. But Esso the car engine will have more vibrations and acceleration sounds rough.
Esso also got points to collect.. Rm1 = 1 point, 1000points get free RM15 petrol.

QUOTE(selangorclay @ Apr 21 2011, 08:12 PM)
guys am i missing something? i cant seem to get fuelly to display the right stuff

i had JUST filled up my tank with CALTEX so there should be no way for it to calculate my mileage since i have not even used a quater of that fuel up

i know im missing something, perhaps the way im keying in the data

after each fuel up, i just type in  the odometer reading (At the time of the fuel up) and the liter and price of gas... what is wrong now?

http://www.fuelly.com/driver/selangorclay/persona-elegance
*
The FC calculated will correspond to the previous filling. So ur 11.8L FC corresponds to the Shell RON95 ,Subang Jaya SS17 filling. Ur 10.2L refers to Kota Damansara Seksyen 6.. So that means when u next fill ur tank thats the mileage for Caltex.

QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Apr 21 2011, 08:40 PM)
i over look the article lah  sweat.gif  ....but the long wheel base Gen 2 is Persona wright ? how come they call the neo as concept car ?

Nowadays car manufacturer use the word concept to test the market reaction and demand b4 they launch the car.. The word concept has been manipulated by car makers too much ady..

Xan, the intake kit i was talking about rmb? R3 prototype.. There this is it.. Although it looks slightly different, mb for looks purpose.. The one i saw was very square looking but looks more fierce and functional. The top air filter box looks smaller, the R3 one looks way bigger.

But the styling is so much nicer...

Yeah.. Its way better and it has a redesigned chamber to increase air pressure, therefore its a mini turbocharger by itself. R3 claims that it can give up to 30% higher pressure than standard atmosphere pressure.

u mean the roundish box behind the engine? is it part of the supercharger unit?
*
The Satria Neo i saw is NA.. Not supercharged.. U see the ram air intake going all the way to another black square box right at the back? That box.. Its half the size of the one i saw.. The prototype one uses back the OEM filter size. and its slanted at an angle to provide direct air feed into the intake. Eliminating air turbulence.

Btw Zeng... I'm having doubts about LCP now.

Redline's LCP weighs around 600+ grams. Works at 400+. As I understand, LCP with weights closer to stock (1.1 KGs) will be able to give the car improved acceleration on straight roads and doesn't affect hill-climbing abilities that badly.

So in this case, Works may have an advantage over Redline on straights. I always have an issue with hill climbing abilities as I live in a hilly area, and often drive up to genting.. doh.gif

But really, I prefer Works' LCP finishing..

Added on April 22, 2011, 11:51 amIf u've stopped at a steep slope before and tried to move ur car, u'll know how heavy is our car and how scary it is.. That day I tried once during CNY, parked my car at a slope at Genting.. When I start my car & wanted to move it, the car feel so weak.. 0-40 took at least 4-5 seconds..
*
Redline Samwong said weights 450grams leh.. Wait today he is getting it.. Tell him to go timbang it.. Works is 432grams.. Hmmm but then if too heavy also difficult to accelerate leh.. Lets see the dyno results for sam wong.. Will test drive his car also on some hilly road..

Hmmm cannot lah.. ur car is auto or manual? its running at 1 bar boost leh.. And also lower comp by using thicker gasket.. and they are using TD05 turbo.. Heavy lag.. boost only cuts in around 4k rpm.. So ur low end power in city drive is rather useless cos of lower compression pistons and no boost.. FC will sky rocket too..

according powerzone fellow told me,the LCP more lightweight, doesnt means will take advantage..depends on the car setup..i din dare put too light one..scared later will langsung no more top speed..2nd is the redline tat i purchase was cheap lo sweat.gif no money to buy the works one cost around RM350-400

Oh nvm.. If u lose too much topspeed u know who to sell it to.. brows.gif

Direct air intake over individual throttle body.. meanse they will have individual filter as well or they still share filter?
*
Share filter lah.. haha.. 4 drop-in filter in the car.. shakehead.gif
Cars in US i see they mod the air intake without any air filters at all..
Mb i can plan to install this.. 150whp.. 0.35bar boost only.. Totally safe for stock engine.

On the other hand, it's a review...may have some bias remarks. Take it with a pinch of salt...

What company u work for lah? Need to timbang so much of things one.
Exactly.. We have more power but drink lots of petrol too..

QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Apr 22 2011, 02:34 PM)
i heard that LCP will hurt engine, is that too? in other word, not really recomment install LCP coz it will reduce the engine life span... any fact to support that phase?
*
It will reduce cos the vibrations are not dampened.. In the long term causing wear and tear on the oil seals at the crank shaft there. But our car so less power lah.. The vibrations are quite minimal.. Not like those turbocharged cars where they have earth axis twisting torque to twist the crankshaft.
