No. That's not a shortcut. doh.gif

Press the volume down and hold it. It will go to mute, and then to silent (vibrate). There will be an icon showing.

What I'm more worried about is, there is no bluetooth voice dialing. Really sucks for drivers. I don't even need voice actions, I just want to call by using bluetooth headset. Which you can't...

If you do that, you'll need to adjust the ringer volume back again everytime you set your phone to silent or vibrate.

You don't have to do all that with the widget. Just one press for silent.

Hm. I tried your way and my conclusions are:

Profile shortcut icon
1. It adds a icon on the screen. I don't like it but you might not mind it.
2. You need to press twice to silent it. Once mutes it, once silents it. But once silent, press once to go back to normal.
3. If the icon is not on your home screen, need to scroll etc.

Volume rocker way
1. Press and hold, one step.
2. But if your profile volume is not max/min, then you have to adjust manually to your desired volume. Requires more steps and attention.
3. No icon on screen. No scrolling required.

Choose your favorite way! thumbup.gif
