first time user normally will see fast battery drain...
cos u play with it a lot, browse market, play games etc.... happens to all user with a new gadget to play with  smile.gif
secondly, do u have 2G/3G data connection active? that would also explain poor battery life...

try googling on "improve battery performance for X10".. u'll get hundreds of result.. few of which are just talking about the same thing...

last but not least, wait for Gingerbread update this coming august.. i'm sure it'll have better battery performance under normal usage...
*
No playing & browse internet(No data plan yet tongue.gif and during office hour no time to play also).
I noticed it was fully charged and it drained 20% after few hrs (idle likely 4hrs).

the reason of my cousin selling it to me was after it upgraded from 1.6 to 2.1, found lagging and not smooth. Do you guys found bit lagging after upgraded to 2.1? hmm.gif

Trying to use Battery Calibration but when launched it, it show "pls root your device first"....
No idea how to root, I know there are plenty of articles about rooting. but lazy to read tongue.gif . any 1 has simple guide on that?

And 1 more thing I find out my x10 is, it drained fast after fully charged.
100% drained to 80% in less than 2 hrs. shocking.gif
but when battery is 70% or below is more lasting. hmm.gif

4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) will this os can support on our phone and SE does they will provide this update?
*
got official 2.3 GingerBread upgrade already consider lucky lo... tongue.gif
other smartphone brand rarely have OS upgrade once their product sold.
I think 4.0 will require more powerful hardware too.

Mostly samsung, HTC stop @ 2.2 rite?
especially HTC(not offence for HTC user, i was HTC user tongue.gif ),
they got plenty of flagship products. rclxub.gif
I guess they don bother to upgrade after their product launched.
if you want last OS, pls go ahead for their latest products. sweat.gif

x10i ~so far i think is the smartphone provided official upgrade quite frequent.
from 1.6 --> 2.1--> now going to 2.3 rclxms.gif

Agree. Waste internal memory and RAM their Daemon. @ Cloud9Nos3 do u consider timescape as bloatware?

timescape is the major selling point of x10, but overall is memory eater. i didnt use it instead use titanium to freeze it. tongue.gif
