2. Someone sell at RM 800 at garage sales , is ap set or ori set ? worth getting ?
Ask the seller warranty from whom, if from SME then is original

3. I went to the gsmarena http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_ace_s5830-3724.php shows it only have 158 MB of storage ? is it really that low of storage space ? I though every touch screen phone got 2-4GB storage ? And how much Ram it got ?
SGA is low-mid end phone, the internal memory more than enough for u if u didnt install much apps into smart phone... and SGA are no 100% usable if without external memory... so if those smart phone with 4-8Gb, it can run without external memory... Ram about 278mb, my usage around 50% only for now... internal memory about 180mb, my usage about 35%... more than enough for me...

4. How is the LCD screen looking and viewing angle ? i know it has very less pixel for 3.5 inch , how good is the viewing angle , can tolerate ?
depend on your requirements how DETAIL required... better test it before buy at Samsung show room

5. Under the sun light , how well is the display screen ? will it get dark out or hard to see at outdoor ? can tolerate ?

6. Normally how long is the battery life last ? let say no wifi no 3g or gps , just for normal call and music/radio ?
my battery full charged when Sunday morning, no 3G, less surf net, no music, no radio, 1-2 time photo shooting, just answer some incoming calls... my battery life left 50% within 2.5 days usage

i getting RM800 instead, bcos i may change phone after 2-3 years usage...
but if planned to use SGA for long and free hassle, then go for sen hen instead...

about VOIP i have no idea... but i think u cant rely wireless broadband for VOIP as the speed wasnt up to expectation unless the area full covered with 3G...

so far, my SGA screen still view-able under sunlight, so i have no idea how particular you are...

just ensure the handphone box provided by hp seller is still SEALED condition and break the seal right in front of you...

i have bad experience that hp seller give me a handphone box seem peeled off a little and questioned him is that a NEW unit? he say yes, i pay money and ciao... so i do further check inside my car, realized that only have handphone, battery, CD and manual inside the box... but no charger, no USB, no extra back cover and no ear pieces... gosh.... i pissed off and back to the shop immediately... i suspected that is demo / display unit and i insist request for another SEALED unit instead, i check hp IMEI match with the box and left there asap...

no idea how the warranty registration done by seller side... but as long as i have the official receipt is enough...

otherwise the manual have a short guide to register warranty to SME via SMS...
it is original if come with the small pieces or paper...

SGA is Gorilla Glass... but still a gorilla will die too if shot by gun...

i choose SGA is bcos the accessories availability...
bcos i need screen protector and casing protector, as checked around the accessories for ideos X5 quite limited...

if u dont know the purpose of rooting or messed up the system files / settings....
better just let it be, no worth to take the risk if u wont use the root features as provided...
it just work alike like "Administrator" account of Microsoft Windows...

My SGA facing SOD just now.believe due to switch on wifi for few hours on idle mode.but lucky i can reboot hp without pulling out the battery,keep try long press power button for few times and managed to boot up again, but without proper shut down as some data no saved...

rooting just giving some extra features or administrator functions onto your phone...

just try to switch off ur wifi when no in use bcos it happened randomly and depend on ur luck...

today i left my SGA with wifi for few hours and SOD happened...
previously i forgot the switch off wifi when morning, left house and work till 12pm but SGA still working fine...

beside the wifi caused SOD issues, other than that no much complaint if u didnt expect too much from SGA...

is SOD or auto shut down during u using it?

u means u want ur hp to be online by using ur pc's internet connection?

is it enabled packet data but no able to surf net?

but beware of maxis data plan, maxis will bill u a bomb if u over the quota... but for digi, either will slower down the speed or block directly... my friends switched from maxis to umobile due to the "uncontrol" and maxis charge him a bomb and umobile have unlimited internet usage @ RM28 under prepaid...

perhaps try umobile RM28 prepaid, got unlimited internet + 100min voice call + 30 sms...

use whatsapp or other application to do messaging lo...
currently i using digi smart plan lite have 300mb only to spam whatsapp with each others...

then just wait for official GB via Kies lo...
at least u can update ur SGA to GB safely...

for current GB released was no 100% compatible with SGA...
you have to wait the customized GB which 100% compatible with SGA...
otherwise u may facing the same issues as zorbyss. that his GPS not functioning nicely and end up u have to downgrade to froyo...

for the time being, just switch off ur wifi while u no in use and save the battery life at the same time... hence as believe most of smart phone users using internet package, i think no issues for those owner installed whatsapp and similiar software... anyway, i switch off my wifi even though i working in office and full time for whatsapp...

just use the factory reset in your handphone...

it will unpack from the setup files in your handphone and reinstall whole OS again...

u also need to download the MMS settings into ur SGA...
so your SGA will know where it should retrieve the MMS...
