I'm interested to buy A43 or A53 series laptop... Battery life is part of my concern.. May I know how long the battery can last on both models? For web surfing & watching drama/movies..

Thanks.. smile.gif

Web surfing + watching movies? Around 1 hours plus?
If wifi only and lowest brightness, perhaps around 2 (A53)-2.5 (A43) hours ?

Closest would be:
Asus U46Sv-WX023v, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2499[2.14kg]; USB3.0, Asus optical mouse[/s]

This one not bad.. Meet all my requirements.. Will do some survey on it..

I didn't know the existence of this model.. Not even in asus product guide rclxub.gif

Edit: I Just checked the specs of this laptop, 10 hours battery life is based on 8cells battery or 4 cells? Rm 2499 bundle comes with 4 cells or 8 cells battery? hmm.gif

is this the one with AMD Fusion E450? I was interested on it earlier, but after google I found it is using APU instead of CPU, which is much much slower than 3 to 4 years old CPU? is this true? hmm.gif

APU is a combination of CPU and GPU.
For AMD Zacate, the CPU is weaker than equivalent Intel CPUs, but the GPU is much better...
Despite the CPU performance differences, there won't be much performance differences in real life

So, does it mean that it's performance is really that bad? Or rather sucky?

You arent foreveralone.jpg
I believe your unit isnt defected. Go have a look at amazon review about this laptop. Everybody is complaining about those speakers since they're located near at each other on the right side of the lappy. Maybe Asus compensates audio quality for portability. Get earphone then. icon_idea.gif
