Went there to ask the BWU, the guy said no stock. He said might bring in either today or tomorrow. Thinking whether to get BWU or not. BWU users, any advice on that?

Isn't the difference between BWE and BWU is the backlite only? I was thinking of getting because of the click sound.. =) A bit scare to invest and then got problems.. D:

Where got as heavy as the blackwidow?

Anyway, felt that ironclad surface like SteelSeries SX. But the SX is much smoother then ironclad (My pov). =)

Let us both pray it will last a good amount of time for the *price* we paid for.  biggrin.gif  I haven't open mine, waiting for BWU.

There was only 1 unit left when I purchased mine.

Thus far, the reception for "Ironclad" has been positive and I quote 'feels like gliding through the air' BUT the

'challenge' that some users are facing are not only for this particular product. Apparently, most Razer products can either last a good few years or a good few

days before being needed to be sent back! I heard the Elite products in particular are so intricately designed (and cost $$$) that these class of products

tend to 'crumble' under (varying) usage. The 'challenge' also arises to those using "Megasoma" with the rough surface occurring at the top of the mat.

It's akin to and I quote 'driving one of the highest performing cars on the planet only to run out of gas soon'.  tongue.gif

I've seen other gaming products but golly me... Razer's packaging is just beyond amazing. And you are absolutely paying more $$$ for the packaging itself.

...And that's just my take from reading around.  nod.gif

I bought ironclad partially is because of the carrying case. XD I know it sounds silly. But then again, self preference no? LOL. Currently my highest value mouse pad ( most expensive mouse pad that I ever bought before ). I really pray starting from today man.

POV for the ironclad: (Shall come up with a review soon, eh?)

Anyway, a quick one. It took me like 1 hour to get used to ironclad as previously was using destructor. 2 different surface ( for me , destructor more rough compared to ironclad ). But overall is all good. Size for both ironclad and destructor are more or less the same.

I've a 2nd hand Razer Imperator .Everything worked fine but how do I make the Razer logo light to go on.I've tried update the firmware and the configurator but none of them seem to be working. thumbup.gif It would look nice if I can on the logo light.
*
It is suppose to be on. Did you switch it off on your driver or something? Or else, might be faulty tho' (my pov la.) Cause previously my old Copperhead also the same. Side got light, but not the logo, which it suppose to have.

I'm using lycosa mirror edition. Finger print magnet, yes it is. Over time, the keyboard will be sticky if your hands are sweaty and did not clean it. Overall, it was still good. Been using it for like 1 1/2 years. Serving me well, like I mentioned before razer hasn't fail me YET. On the other hand, lycosa normal edition (Rubber coated) would be dust magnet I guess, and over a period of time for hardcore gamer, the rubber coated will be peel off. That's what some lycosa users mentioned before in previous thread.

EDIT: I wipe my keyboard and mouse pad before i sleep. Wiping mouse pad is to avoid the issue that zandara told me. (Trying to)

Warranty gotta send back to razer HK or Singapore. Can't remember. Zandara told me before. Why would you wanna get things that you from razerzone, where you can get it in Malaysia retailers? If getting the goliathus extended understandable la. Megaladon and Scarab? Think twice man. The hassle.

Is there an improved edition? Enlighten me please. For all I know, Razer just changed their packaging for their keyboards only. Improved edition as in, improved on what?

There's pros and cons for Lycosa normal and also mirror edition. Iirc, the normal edition rubber will peel off over a period of time. If you scare the mirror edition got scratches after wipe, use those cloth that you wipe your spectacles to wipe. Won't have scratches. Not to forget, the normal edition is dust magnet. Well, that's my pov. (personal experience of using lycosa mirror edition.) Hope it helps.

huh? only dealers have access to those special items? I don't get what you mean.

imho, these premium gifts is to give those buyers or consumers that spend a lot on razer eq. For example, you don't see any retailers selling sony jackets around the stores. I might be wrong tho'. Cause seeing only a few fellas got these kind of premium gifts.
