I feel that if a DA black edition was given lights, it will pawn the Mamba in terms of "luxurious" The Razer Thread v14, www.pcgamingisnotdead.com

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ May 7 2011, 04:31 PM) Ok let assume retail price is RM400, at garage sale this Mamba usually can be sold off at RM280-300 (and that is used one, the bottom part all scratchy & dusty etc.). You do the math.QUOTE(ne0cz @ May 7 2011, 05:10 PM) Mamba don't have much LEDs except for the scroll and sensitivity indicator. I don't know how DA black edition feels like, I only got a brief moment holding it. But when I mentioned luxury, it's all about the specs, wireless feature and on the fly sensitivity change. |

Why sometimes when I adjust the DPI on my Mamba, the OSD (the DPI level that is displayed on your monitor) doesn't appear?
The indicator on the mouse itself is there and definitely feel the DPI change when adjusted on the mouse, but no OSD. Lol at the surface area of the mat surface. No, seriously. At high level DPI you're just using a fraction of the surface. I found myself thinking, gosh, look at the available area but its nice since I can rest my hands on the Ironclad's cool surface. |

Yes this do happens, is it when you turn off the mouse and switch back on? If you wanna the OSD back on, you will need to re-run the Mamba configurator then cancel to close the application. The indicator on the mouse itself is there and definitely feel the DPI change when adjusted on the mouse, but no OSD. Actually playing high DPI is much more relaxing, I'm using 5600dpi on Windows & gaming. Less wrist movement involved. I need to switch down the dpi when I'm drawing/photo editing though, or even sniping in game cause it's too fast for some precise movements This post has been edited by Vigilant: May 7 2011, 06:47 PM |

If you wanna the OSD back on, you will need to re-run the Mamba configurator then cancel to close the application. I guess so... since I'm not using the mouse for long hours, I just turn it off and sometimes put it on the dock. Other times, I just leave it and the mouse automatically turns off (the lights go down) and need to move the mouse to wake it up. Accuracy, sweeping movements and movement in Windows work fine at this level. Still can't quite get the hang of 5600 dpi on any level, be it gaming or windows. It's just too fast. |

QUOTE(JonSpark @ May 7 2011, 06:42 PM) Razer's quality becomes worst when they make all of their product in China, they should move their factory to Taiwan though.. Taiwan's quality check is better, and china seems like no quality check at all... |
